Well, those other SS's prove nothing then. Because those are the ones where the flames appear anyways. It's the frame 2,297 that is being disputed. Not to be an a$$, but its kind of odd how it wont work for you, but whoever took the SS's in the first post managed to get it to take one from that exact frame.
That is true... but if all the reviews concur in that card "A" has to have higher aniso to equal the quality of card "B", it is safe to draw conclusions using only their opinion in terms of IQ.Quote:

Here is the IQ test for 3DMarks03 with the max frame setting showing:

I never denied that ATI doesnt have a better Image quality. They are amount the best I had seen. Which is why I used one in the past, But I had problems quite a few of the games I love to play. It has been awhile, and there drives have matured overtime.
That is the main reason why I would try them again once 9900 are released.
I dont want to start a flame but, This is how I feel and you cannot dispute my feelings :)
They prove that they are wrong (not mine). If you look at the first 2 SS's of this thread. They have one of frame 740 and one from 2297. However the first benchmark doesnt have a frame 2297. So that leads me to believe they are ******** SS's in the first place.Quote:

Interesting:
These are the max frames they allow for IQ settings.
GT1 - 1274
GT2 - 2222
GT3 - 2161
GT4 - 2039
If you know of another way to capture that exact frame. I am opened to ideas
I find this statement rather interesting with the nvidia fans or people who cannot support Mother Nature. (GF4 on 3DMarks03)
When I tried to take a IQ shot of the mother nature test. I get the following message "The test cannot be run because the hardware cannot support it. However, you can run the test using the reference rasterizer if DirectX9 SDK is installed"
I am going to try that!
That is kind of odd. I'm still waiting for this damn thing to DL again :p, then I should have some better input. Because I can atleast see then how many frames I'm at when my test hits the same "time period" as in the first SS posted.
I remember there are different sections in the first test, but I have no way of taking a shot of it with the IQ test.
I dont want to run the benchmark and keep taking screenshots. I would be there forever trying to hit frame 2297 :)

Yea , sry also , i was a bit harsh with you :).
Colosus , i am also a hardware reseller in Montreal , we got a lot of IBM 60GXP hdd for RMA, drives just died :) , personaly i had 2 X 40 GB , one died and the other one i sold because it was extremely hot ,how ever latest revisions worked ok , from 200 sold only 2 or 3 came back to us if i remember good , most RMA we hawe now are for videocards and CDRW.
Thanks for the information. But I think part of my success with the IBM 60GXP drives is that I don’t resell to Joe Blow off the street. I am strictly a business consultant/ reseller. So if a company needs a hard drive replacement or 20 systems built, I would have fans installed behind the drive. I like keeping my drives cool :)
It could be a number of reasons why they haven’t failed, but I try not to think about it. My clients are noob's when it comes to computers so they don’t overclock and most of the time they are rarely using 5% of the drive.
EDIT: If I was harsh with anyone then I am sorry.
PS: The comment about my BMW was that it shows I am somewhat successful in my business. I don’t think I will ever buy a car again with a loan. I prefer cash, and I got an awesome deal!
I would like to point out that the Det drivers 42.86 suck! I am having major problems with games now that I have those drivers back installed. I need a solution to how I can capture frame 2297 quick before I go back to 41.09.
The games I play are acting funky and randomly crashing left and right now.

Joe Blow :) ,....yes sometime i ask my self how some people can belive all the bull i trow to sold something .
About fans on HDD , well i am a salesman , for the money they pay me i don't give a damn if from 300 hdd all came back for RMA and when i work in the repair shop and i find a bad component i write the cause from myself and not the real cause .
Usualy when i repair something i write on the tag :
item : defect
cause : Unknown
If they pay me some 25 $/hour then YES i would do everything right and i would make suggestions when i see something wrong.
I know what you mean. I used to work in a small computer shop back in Brooklyn, NY. And most of my money would be commission with a $13/hr salary. I loved that job, but since I was only 18 at the time. 100% of that part-time job plus some of my fulltime job salary went to computer parts. But I would get everything at wholesale.
I remember buying a box of TDK 10 CDROM discs for $15 each and TDK had a coupon for a $20 mail in rebate. However we were selling them at $20 ea but since I bought them at wholesale, I made $5 on each 10-pack. And the box I bought was a box of 10 :) My boss printed me some receipts and then voided it. Then I mailed all the coupons to TDK with different family names :)
Those were the days :)
Then after I left both the part-time job and full-time job, I started to work in Manhattan making 50K a year before the age of 21. Man I put myself indebt so far it’s not even funny!
I need to get out of this addiction to computers!
