Sucks about your modem...on the statistics, what does ELO mean? I'm ranked third in the two matches I played, but I also recognize that I suck and that this is probably a statistical anomaly.

Last night was great, we had a good number of Sharky people on. I just looked over the stats for some of the games I played.

I was on a bit last night, didn't know many people, though. I also got mad camped by a tank waiting at my only available node; I think I got smoked like ten times by him. Not my fault.

Naw, yours I could have actually prevented if I thought ahead enough to switch to pretty much any other weapon. Same situation, though.

was that on artic stronghold? if so then yeah I hate that map...there's not a whole lot you can do when your fighting for that first node and redeemers pound you every 3 minutes...it's pretty much over if your first node is destroyed...

I'm thinking of taking off some of the stupid maps like dm-serpantine and dm-trainingday...you know the 1 or 2 room maps...I cringe when I see 1 on 1 maps played with more than 4 people...

also for onslaught I'm gonna make it so whoever wins the first round wins the match...so for example say blue team won the first round...instead of playing the map over and switching sides it's just gonna end and go to the next map...this is so the crappy but popular maps (artic stronghold...dria) don't go on forever...

No, it was on Ascension, before you came in. Good idea about limiting the time of the map, though. Are teams reassigned after maps change?

they should be since everyone loads each map faster or slower than the next person...I believe when you load the map it automatically assigns a team for you and balances it...and it just assigns a team to each person when they are done loading...

That's what I thought, I just wasn't sure.

I am leaving out, also, the moment where I thought I had single-handedly performed a rally for Red, only to realize I was playing with just the 'bots. I was like, "GG!", and then we went to the next map, and I watched as new bots were loaded. I was all thinking I was improving and being clever, and then...nothing. :( ;)

XJ I still use Kali for convenience, its been updated quite a bit and when you have friends playing 4 different FPS games it was just easier to use to find someone on a given server.

And on the topic, I wish I still had my old user.ini :( I remember there was a lot of useful things I posted and had in there but Im sure its all gone now since I uninstalled the game long ago.

And yes I'll get back in game sometime soon...hard to kick this damn WoW addiction :p

crap, i was getting a ping of ~300. I should be a heck of a lot lower, as I'm on university lines. I know they're pretty darn fast, i forget the exact number.

So why are my pings so high? I had this problem when the CwC was around too sometimes.
