The Cooler's Guild

Good Idea... That way if someone is wodering what the guild is about they can read all about it..:D

I have the link in my address for that exact reason.

Im not a wizz on cooling at all but I would love to learn. Ive learned so much from this site and It would be cool if I could enter as a private.

Well, how about letting a fat kid in there. I spend too much time around here giving useless advice not to be a part of the Guild. I should be able to get in just from my homemade HS, the shasharado ;).

Doesn't matter if your temps are good or bad, just that you help out in cooling. If you want to be apart of it, then you can be;

Heh soon Ill try and remedy my cooling by adding some more airflow and cleaning my Vantec HSF.Get my temps down and rank up.
But I also tend to get into the infamous OC guild once I get my new mobo so I can do some major OCing.

Well like I said, it's not about tempratures. You won't get a higher rank because you have awesome tempratures, nor will you be an OC Knight because of a great new OC. It's all about helping people, and sharing your experiences, and learning new things. ;)

very true i have a sweet OC myself but spend little to no time in the cpu/oc forum hence no OC Knight for me :D
I also don't have spectacular temps but understand the cooling concept and love giving advice when i feel i can help keep that in mind Ganja i've seen people not become OC knights because they spam or start flame wars

guild rankings... hmmmm in my book a Sergeant outranks a Lt. (unless the Lt. used to be a sergeant lol) :cool:

Think about it, to any of you who has any military experiance, who would you rather work for, A Sergeant who knows what he's doing or an Lt. who happens to have a piece of paper that says he went to college and is "educated" (note: educated and smart are completely different subjects)

once in a while they look over the members and see which ones have been helping out a lot and could use a good promotion.

No you cannot bump yourself up, because that would be out of control. If we feel you deserve a bump up in rank because you have gone out of your way to help others, or have just be a very good member to the Guild we will bump you up; otherwise be patient and don't ask ;)
