But Vmod is where it's at!:D:D:D
Damn this thread got all the way down to page 4. Can't be letting that happen.
Nobody pushing for higher marks?
Come on guys!! We need to keep this rolling!! Start your engines!!:)
Was thinking of pushing past 18k with my spanking new NF7-S r2.0, the one with 400 FSB?, but with a this controversy concerning FM's reliablility, I feel a little discouraged (didn't liked being dissed in the thread I posted in - some people can be downright mean/sarcastic). :( Presently, I'm #6 on 2k3 and #9 on 2k1, will try for higher when I'm over the blues.;)
Most of the controversy is over 2003. I still feel 2001 is a very valid benchmark of your systems capabilites.:)
Yeah, I guess so.:) When my new board is finally stable, I'll run the benchmark and see where I land. Thanks Vertices!:D Now, if everyone can be civil like that, posting in the forum won't leave such a bad aftertaste, but that's another can of worms!;)
Unfortuneately, this forum often lacks civility.:(
All one can do is contribute in their own fashion and hope it spreads.
I hear ya, I'm trying to be patient and civil too. Thank vertices.:)
I'm always civil. I don't flame. I point out where people are wrong and when they act in a manner not suiting they way they post while trying to be honorable.
I just thought I'd add that I just ran 3D Mark 2001 on my regular gaming install of XP.
This install is loaded with apps, SP1, DX9 the works. It's also nontweaked with all services on.
I also ran it on my all day running settings. 3.8ghz 5:4 with 9800 at 480/360.
The only thing I did was turn down textures and such. Everything is else is stock as hell. I didn't even run the bench the hard way. I just selected all tests and let it run through.
It scored 21737 in this config. Damn nice score for all day running.:D:D:)
ohhhh... sure rub it in... blah blah blah....
If you keep it up I might just order that Prommie Mach II and shove you to the bottom of the list!
Good luck!! Thats not a guarantee though. Many people with prommies have still not been able to get to 4ghz. It's still luck of the draw.:p :)Quote:

Why not?
These new D1 chips are helped even less by extreme low temperatures. It's a trend that started with the C1s and is continuing.
Yes it still helps, but not as much as it used to in general.
So I cant get a 3.00Ghz and pump 2.0v through it on a prommie for 4.5Ghz?
You're kidding right?Quote:
