I'll be clockin it up again though probably in a few months.:)
I'd actually like for someone to beat my score and take over #1 for a bit. (sort of:D) :)
You're waiting for some to beat you? Man! I'm afraid it'll be a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG wait.;) (Did I put enough 'O's:confused: ) Your #1 spot is pretty secure;) , I'd say the C man should be just a little bit worried though:p :D . HeHe! Just messing with your mind there C man!:DQuote:

P.S. I'm actually pretty upset 'cause the Dusk demo can't run with the gl_wrapper:( Oh why! Oh why can't I run it.:( (I'm almost mad enough to email nVidia to complain! (I'm not stupid, ya know, I DID say 'almost'.HeHeHe!)
Nice!
Incase anyone wants to compete with me... You need to go higher.. I had beaten my old score today :)
But I am not done.. Will give the final score when I am satisfied :D
I will only say this :D :D I am the second shark to break 21K :D :D
21K:eek: Awesome job!! By the way when I gave the clock rates for my vid card I did mean 465 although I'm sure you knew that:)
*lol* I was going to wonder how you underclocked the 9800Pro and it produced artifacting :eek:Quote:

I would push the card a little harder for mild artifacts if you want too or tweak out the OS more...
Tighter mem settings, maybe 1Mhz FSB more :D
There must be something left for you to get a higher score :D :D
BTW: I am around 452/371 so I am in the same boat :)
So you do have a advantage on the core then I.. BUT that was my old settings... Wait till you see what I have in store :)
I didnt get that much more on the core, still using the stock cooling, but I got more raw power and some tweaks that I dont normally use... I never tried to run the benchmark out of order or run one particular benchmark over and over for a better score :)
WOOHOO! Man! You're supposed to be taking it easy! 21k! Jeez, great score dude!:D Now, you're even harder to catch:(Quote:

posted in another thread with no-responce.....
why don`t everyone run the complete bench!!
all my benchs are complete and the textures and writing on the screen look the way their are suppost too to. Unlike some of those tweaks listed...I say if the bench is not compete with all tests done, the bench should be resubmitted with a full complete bench done. The rules state default settings, running half the tests is not default settings!!
Can I update my scores???
I got a little more (not much) from each bench.
CPU: AIRGA 0233 XP2200
Stock Speed of CPU: 1.8GHz
Overclocked speed of CPU: 2.228GHz @ 223 x 10 1.95v
MotherBoard: Abit NF7-S Ver 2.0
Ram: OCZ PC3500EL @ CAS2.0 4-2-2
Video Card: FX5900 Ultra w\custom cooling
Stock Core of Video: 300MHz
Actual Core of Video: 334MHz
Stock Mem of Video: 900MHz DDR
Actual Mem of Video: 945MHz DDR
New benchmark scores in my sig.

Rukee, it's not at default! You're running the test at 640x480 16bit. :( Run at default and scores comprising the 1st 4 tests is acceptable.;)
grrr...
updated the wrong one!!!!
/me goes to correct.
You gotta tweak like crazy to get extra 3DMarks, that's the challenge of 3DMark2k1! You can spend the whole day tweaking and get a marginal increase:mad: . Just hang in there and keep trying, OK?;) :D (Don't get me started on those sleepless nights!:o )Quote:

Nice job on 21K Big C!!:) Let me know what you top out at so I can update you.:)
Rukee~~~ it is ok to only run the first 4 tests. Those of us that run this a lot would go crazy looking at ALL of those tests.
Also, it means nothing in terms of stability. Usually I freeze up from vid card being clocked to high.
If I make it through a run of the first 4 tests, I could just drop my vid card clocks to a more stable speed and run out the rest of the tests. My score would be the same since it is only determined from the first 4 tests.
So it really makes no sense to even bother running them.:)
I'll update you when you are ready.:)
Rukee~~I need the other speeds from your vid card.
You keep giving me the 2D speeds. I need the 3D speeds instead. 3DMark reports back the 2D speeds cause that is what you are running when you launch the 3DMark.
You are actually at 500 default and whatever you set that to. So for future reference, always report your speeds in the 500 range.:)
sorry bout that..
515 core
951 memory

I`ve been tweaking and upgrade longer then prolly most here!! :p
But I don`t believe in crippling the OS or the video integrity to get the higher scores.
All my benchs are done with a complete OS and all textures and writing in the benchs looks like they`re suppost to. :)
There's nothing wrong with running the first 4 tests only as they are enough to indicate your overall gfx/system performance.;) :D But if you wanna run the whole shabang, I ain't gonna rain on your parade!HeHeHe!:D :p :DQuote:

P.S. I've just realised that I'm a 'Tiger Shark' now, WooHoo! Time for a change of avatar!:D
I updated you Rukee.:)
And you can bench however you want. But don't think others are doing it wrong.
I look at it like being a drag race. You are pushing your system to the limit. Sometimes you blow an engine, sometimes you get a great run.
If you want to be at the top, you'll have to race like the top dragsters.:)
I don`t think others are doing it wrong so much as...
I just prefer to tweak my whole computer as a whole working machine. I dissable no services in the OS or do the rival texture tweaks so it doesn`t redure the words or half the stuff on the screen. I want my computer to still be a full working gaming machine with all features of a computer still working. After all, I am just tweaking my gamer! ;) And it looks like a computer, all in the case, unlike a pile of parts on a table some people bench (no offence if that`s your machine! ;) ).
You could say...I`ve brought my station wagon to the drag strip, and the ***** flys!! :p
Hey Vertices, I'll be taking my P4 rig thru its paces i.e. I'll be benching it soon:) . Can I attach my 3DMark on my sig just after my 2nd rig psu? (something like : CWT Black Cube 450W PSU 3DMark2001 score) It's not my official entry benchmark, just for others to know (in case they're thinking of getting this or a similar combo.:))
Blah!!!
To many new ATI drivers to play around with to get the best score...
I need to test 3.4, 3.5 and now 3.6 :D :D
I will make sure I post that new score here :)Quote:

I just want to get a little higher then just over 21K... I want like 21.2-21.5 :)
Its a long shot but hey :) If the KNXP wont do it.. The P4C800 will :) :) (Which I will replace with a -E model :D)
tell me what cats work best for you :)Quote:

I will tell you this... So far I love 3.6 FOR Benchmarking!!!!!!
I am going to try CAT 3.0 too.. It appears that most hardcore 9800Pro users (top 5) use CAT 3.0... So I will see how well that fairs :D :D
Of course you can!! You can do whatever you want in your sig, but only 1 entry into the database.:)Quote:
