I just read that AZ is about to sign Mike Sherman as the head coach. Can anyone confirm? Not a bad move if so, he is a terrible GM but can indeed coach.

Doesn't matter who the Cardinals get as a coach, they will always be a let down.
Probably. The right coach can really turn things around though; almost as important as the right owner.
I can't wait to watch my game btw, I'm starting to like Seattle's chances against the Bears. It's all on Hass, really.
Colts in the AFC Title game after beating the Ravens 15-6, behind Vinatieri's 5 field goals. Baltimore with only 83 rushing yards. Colts have only allowed 127 rushing yards in two postseason games. A far cry from how they finished up the season. :D
Colts haven't exactly faced a incredible offense yet.
Next week will be great. LT will destroy the colts.
The only way the Bears will lose is if Grossman ****s it up.Quote:

Besides, Grossman ****ing it up is almost a forgone conclusion lately.
Yea I saw that. I was cracking up at how long they actually showed it.Quote:

Freaking saints, couldn't have scored one more time and beat the 5 point spread i was betting with.... arggg.
Yea there are times I don't take the spread but just pick a team to win. Doing the same thing w/ the SD/NE game today. Gonna take the Chargers to win as the 4.5 spread is just a tad too much for my liking. Also going to go out on a limb and take the over on this one as well. This is the game that I'm really looking forward to.
Seattle hangs in there and finally takes the lead, woooooooooooooo!!!
Now they have to keep the pressure on Grossman and they might just pull this off.
Or not...
Bears never let me down. I bet twice on this game, once on DA BEARS strait up, and once on Sea +9. I win both ways!!!
At least the refs didn't cost them this one.
Hasselbeck failed to basically be clutch, and it cost them a very winnable game. All he would have had to do was RUN the two yards; instead he throws it out of bounds and they punt. Idiot.
I was basically shitting my pants everytime Grossman dropped back to pass in the end of the 4th quarter and during OT. Seriously, every time the seahawks brought pressure he just ripped it into the middle of the pack, I guess trying to get it to his back or something... But jeeze, either throw it away properly or take the sack.
I'm not betting on the game but I think NE will win it in a close one.Quote:

If the SD game would've gone the other way, I would've been very happy, but meh.
GO BEARS.
Prediction correct! Patriots win it on San Diego having bad clock management at the end and missing a last minute field goal.Quote:

I don't actually wish injury on anybody, but I would be interested to see what would happen if Brady went down for a season and they needed somebody else behind center.
This weekend's games made me want to fire up NFL 2K5 for some sweet franchise action. I don't really like how all the rosters and such are outdated, though, so I'm just sitting here simulating 13 or 14 seasons to try and get most/all of the current day players out of the picture so I can start fresh. :D
im mad that the eagles and the seahawks are out of it :(
