Someones getting a new VC and possibly a G80 (or R600 if it comes out this year). I think I killed the X1800XT :( Either that or its the motherboard. I'm pretty sure its the card since it has two red lights on the actual card. I'm not going to be subcooling the video any time soon. It was a PITA... I think some grease dripped off and opened up a place for condensation. The CPU was much easier to mount so its all good.
Man ewitte, that sucks. Well, it was time for an upgrade from the X1800XT anyways right? ;)
I'm wondering, do people still use those LOD tweaks in RivaTuner or whatever? The reason I ask is because I'm comparing my score with others and even with about the same video card clocks, people are getting a solid 100FPS more than me in the 2001 Nature test. I don't think different drivers could cause that big of a difference could they?
I use LOD on my maxes when I compete. It gives about 1000 points or so. Also you will get 20fps or so from a normal fast CPU versus a super fast CPU. I've been waiting for that card to get upgraded so I'm not entirely pissed. I might see if I can sell it really cheap. Maybe its a cap or something someone with an electronics background can fix. First I need to really confirm its the card. I have access to a low profile PCIe DVI 2d only card to test things out.

I won't bother with my 03 scores as for some reason I can't seem to beat the score I posted with the 66GT's I just don't understand but meh.

P5N32-E 680i. I like the space around the s775 slot. I'll get benches up soon. I didn't get the MB so they will be crap. The board I have does not have overclocking options in BIOS. Its for my sister but I'm using it to try out the 8800GTX ;) Its Intel and a G965 chipset so it should at least be solid.
100% stock CPU and GPU and crappy ram settings.
