i just ran 3dmark06 for the first time(no oc yet, later tonight) and i scored 8412......is that any good? lol, it sure didnt seem like it to me.

Depending on the system, an 8800GTS scores about 8k-9k at default speed. I've gathered that a quad core system usually scores about 1k more than a similarly spec'd dual core rig. With both your CPU and GPU OC'd, you should get pass the 10k mark......your score of 8.6k was with your CPU @3.3ghz?
yes it is at 3.3 right now. i just got the latest forceware drivers and my score is now 8667....not too much better. im going to start ocing my vid card and see where it takes me.Quote:

alrighty, just broke 10,000!! wahoo, im excited. vid card at 620/1000. btw, how hot is too hot for a vid card? the hottest it got during 3dmark was 68C which seems high to me but mabey not for a video card.
