Well my copy of XP died... I dont know why but it has problems reading the CD now... I even tried to make a copy of the copy.. Since I didnt have the original on me.. Sometime that can fix the reading problem when the CD is scratched.. No such luck...
So I need to cut a new copy of the CD before I can benchmark... :)
If you still have the key, MS will overnight you a new copy.
I never use the original CD if I can help it :)
This is the very reason why I dont :) I just need to make a new copy of my XP Pro Corp next time I am in the office (tomorrow) :)
Arent copies illegal? but yea I know it sucks having the cd be unusable anyway :(
If you own the software... You are allowed to make a backup copy of it... This way if the copy gets damaged, I can just toss and and make another copy...
ah didnt know, my bro tried that once but the cd is copy protected and burning a backup copy doesnt work, it gives an error when he tried to burn it. anyway can you use the origional? I dont even have a cd burner and am very careful with the origionals :)
You can use the original but why would you? I sometimes can get careless with some CD's... I leave them on the desk and they can get all scratched.. So I prefer to make a copy..
However it doesnt really work for games.. Mostly Software...
When I install/Play games I use the original.

It appears that FM has changed there search so if you are not running the latest 3.3.0 patch.. You are considered OLDER builds and not in the default search.... How lame!!!!

OK, I lowered my settings for 3DMark 2001 to get the highest score possible and I got just under 15000:p hahaha...now that I've posted the link can I join? huh, can i? can i? My goal is to overclock my processor to the tune of 200*11.5-12.5 and see if I can't hit 16000...:D
