Edit - See? Toldcha that it would take both CPU and GPU OC to beat 10k!;) Feels good, doesn't it? The best feeling I ever had after OCing was when I'd beaten 20k in '01 all those years back......was the 3rd shark to break it after vert and Big C IIRC.

BTW, if you wanna join the team, just post your full system spec here and I'll get right on it.:cool:

my case has really good airflow actually. at least i hope it does. i got 4 80mm fans in the bottom front pushing in, one 80mm on the side pushing in, one 80mm on the top sucking out, and 2 80mm in the back sucking out as well. it should be doing allright.

of course i wanna join (now that i have a system worth a crap ;) ). what else do you need to know about my system?

Another thing is, you must include a link to the team site in your sig, only then am I allowed to by the powers that be (namely Pyro and vert :p ) to insert you into the team. Lookin' forward to welcoming another victim....oops, I meant member.:D

look forward to being on the team! i cant believe ive been a member since 01 and im just now joining the team. well i was in the marine corps infantry for 4 years and overseas most of it so that may be why lol.

hey another thing i was going to ask, is it alright to have my fan running at 100% all the time? in riva tuner you can set it to what ever or have it chance when it hits certain temps but id just rather have it running full blast all the time. its not gonna hurt nothing is it? i wouldnt assume so but you know what happens when you assume things ;)

I don't see anything wrong with having the fan run 100%, only downside is the noise, but the GPU/mem should be running cooler as a result. And no, you don't need to have all four 3DMarks....any of them would do I believe (I hope the powers that be can clarify on this, I'm just a lowly worker bee here):p :D

While not exactly in the format I'd specified, I'll accept this but I need a proper link to FM. You need to login to FM (if you already have an account, if not, just join FM and create an account), click on the 'publish' box and update. Once that is done, look for a compare url (should be near the top), copy that and paste it in your post here. Once that is done, add a link to the team site in your sig and I'll get to it. Sorry for making you go thru this hassle, I'm a stickler for the rules, anyway, old vert might fire my butt if I were to take liberties with the rules.:eek: :D

Well, for one you didn't separate your core and mem speed for your GPU.......didn't I mention I'm pretty anal about this sorta thing? :p :D

I believe you'd have to register with 'em....it's been a while and I've totally forgotten the process.:o Here's sumething I'd found on the FAQ -
The benchmark account is used for the Online ResultBrowser (ORB). Your email and password are required when creating or logging in to the benchmark account. You can create an account when submitting a project from one of our benchmark programs - there's a link on the login page that allows you to enter your email address & the desired password. okay that makes sense, ill get on that. im having problems with riva tuner unforunetly as it seems to have driver problems with this version of forceware and vista. kinda ticking me off. everything runs great for a while and then it starts crashing out of games. i thought mabey it was my vid card temps at first but they were fine and i could loop 3dmark06 5 times or so and it would be fine. kinda sucks. coolbits dosent work in vista yet and i cant find another decent program to oc with. dont know what to do about that!!!! kinda puts a hamper on my benchmarking. blah!

okay sweet, they released a new version of riva tuner yesterday and it seems to be much more stable in vista. although it makes me sad that i cant keep the same oc on my vid card. even the old version was the same. for some reason its just games with the doom3 engine that dont like my memory higher than 950 mhz. everything else runs fine but i just dont want to risk it for my gaming. so im at 600/950 on my vid card which is pretty damn good considering stock is 500/720. but with the 950 instead of 1000 i get just below the 10000 mark which blows. oh well, ill tweak it alittle more just for kicks and see if i can break it without ocing higher. i guess i could oc it higher just for 3dmark, it works fine on that and i get 10100ish. but here is my 9899 score just for the sharky team:
