I'm leaving town on Wednesday so all 5 pcs will have 100% dedication to folding without my daily interruptions. Hopefully they will still be running when I get home. I perdict though that I will fall out of the top 10 eventually as those with large amounts of PCs take over the top spots. We where early to the game and are up high now, but we have to watch out for the rookies with there server farms :)
Thats always a concern. It happened to vertices on his honeymoon. I myself had this happen today at home. We had a power spike and I was out. Folding progress was halted for around 70 minutes. Not a big deal for me but those who go away for hours, days or weeks must pray for constant power. Winter certainly is more likely to experience these power failuresQuote:

Yeah it sux when that happens. My problem was actually due to a faulty UBR from my cable company. I promptly forced them to upgrade me to the newest model.:) (Can't be having them bringing down my folding time!)Quote:

I have over 4000VA of UPS power keeping my stuff up.:)
Anyone know why the team stats page is down at stanford, I have been trying for several hours to get to it and I keep getting a message saying it is under heavy load.

stanford's site is back up....for me at least...guess they really were experiencing "heavy load"

We are really close to being 200 and better. Only a 5000 point difference and we are gaining on them quickly. Our daily total so far is 7k and the next team to put up over 1k a day is at 160th place.
We still need more members though...we should make it mandatory to sign up for team 34149 when joining Sharkys:)
If you keep recruiting folks, I've got a feeling you'll be on our 'Threats' list by the end of the year. No clue what the date could be, but I think you'll be seeing 10k/day fairly easily.

Sorry, not gonna happen. Too involved with SPCR. Silent computing is my primary endeavour. Nice to have two systems in my bedroom Folding 24/7 and not hear them five feet away.
Besides, gotta help get SPCR back up to 70k/week.
hey, i don't mind Zyzzyx here at all, in fact, i think it's more encouraging for us than it is recruitment for them. to see that someone from elsewhere has noticed our production and dropped in to see what we're all about certainly shows that we're a force to be reckoned with and that our presence and competitiveness is respected and welcomed. when someone like Zyzzyx comes here and says how impressed he is with out team, i feel it as a great compliment and, for me at least, would make me want to push harder to climb the charts to try and compete with them.
