Statman says our last 24hours is 8K. Maybe we can be a 13K a day team by years end after all? Just when I thought we were stagnating at 5K. Doing my small part I believe those 2 laptops I use at work P4 2.4Ghzer's are going from 8/5 to 24/7 bringing me potentially up to 8.9Ghz of combined Tbred/Celeron/P4. Not quite enough to get Thermo but better than before.

Hey guys. I'm in. I got (3) 2 Ghz machines running 24/7 and another part timer. I hope to add 2 more, but they will just be for the 4 day weekend. Iv'e been folding a just short of 2 days and I am in 60th place on our team. I am no OC Knight but the Knight have helped me in the past. Yomen Gorn reporting in. My blade keen and my will set.

Awesome. Folding is not just be Knights and Crusaders. Its for everybody. The Folding Team will bring SF its greatest renown. We should crack the top 200 tonight and we're on pace for the top 100 right around the end of the Year End. The Top 100 is the Team's goal.

The Stanford page shows me as having 6 processors, though I only have 5. 4 computers, 1 with HT? Are one of you guys helping me? Hah!

I think if you've had an aborted work unit it might get counted as an extra processor. IIRC, our top Folder sometimes shows ~10 more CPUs on the Stanford page than he's really using.

Did anyone else not get credit for their WU's during the Stanford database downtime? I'm showing that my last WU was from yesterday at 13:05 and I know that I had a few finish since then. Not a big deal, but I hate throwing away units like that.

I have mine all listed, did you check and see if they are in queue and have not been sent in yet.

I could be way off, but when I checked last, all of my systems where onto there next WU. I do know that they would have turned them in while the database was done, but not a huge deal.

whole lotta musical chairs going on in the 5-8 slots on the team right now...i was down at 7 last night with mu_ohio and saffire ahead of me, now i'm ahead of them but Daywalker came outta nowhere and pased us all :eek: i think when it's all said and done all 3 of you will be ahead of me though.

I think all 4 of my machines hit at about the same time. There's less than 100 points seperating the 4 of us right now, so I probably won't be here for long.

I had to drop one of my folders down to 75% CPU usage. :(

Folding is just taxing it too much and slows down the system by A LOT even though it is low priority. Oh well.

I dropped 2-3 hours today on all 3 of my computers!, I found somone hacked in and was using my machine as an FTP....:mad: :mad: :mad: somehow the firewall on my server dropped like a rock as it stopped service he got in and through the network onto my computer.

They had a bunch of misc. mp3 files and a couple pictures of a front bezel being painted and some 99% isopropyl (sp?) alchohol...

"firewall on my server" Anyone see the problem with that? If the firewall os not standing in front of your systems, then the bad guys are in before they hit the firewall.

Got home from work today at 5 PM. Got folding running on the two machines in this sig AND my wife's AMD 1700XP which I have O/C to 2000(1.6MHZ) That's @5.6Mhz worth of AMD for the cause. BTW got all 20lbs of potatoes peeled and diced for tomorrow morning. I'll get up and make mashed potatoes for Turkey day! YUMMY!!!!!:p

Lonewolfroger. We all assemble at my sister's house (@25) plus whoever you are bringing @4PM. She just bought her husband Call of Duty at my suggestion and he's hooked so it ought to be a hoot. My mashed potatoes (includes plenty of butter and sour cream) fills two oversized crock pots for the trip to my sister's house.

I'm letting the computers run 24/7 folding!

Well, thanks anyway, I don`t think my old car will make it all the way to PA. :D but you and your family have a good day tomorrow. I have noticed one thing running my computers 24/7 they feel like they do things faster now then before for some reason.

There is a firewall running independently infront of each of my systems ... it went down on the server...
