I don`t know about duelies, but I guess they share the work if you only have one WU running. The bad thing about trying to come up with an average running time on a work unit is that even if you get say a 250, they are not equal because some take longer then others.Quote:

well it took me most of tonight, but i finally got the windows client -- complete with SSE boost :D -- to run under linux with wine. :D :cool: :D :cool: (but man what a b!tch!)

i was making pretty good progress before, but apparently using wine the folding program runs even faster than the native linux client. :eek: w00t!

Man I still can't get that -advmethods thing going on my AMD machine. Should I uninstall F@H completely then reinstall the Beta? It's been a long *** day and I'm so out of it, I totally forget what's going on here:mad:

yeah, try the 3.25 beta version. that seems to be working for me. if you still can't get it, post back in the problems thread and we'll try to get it sorted out.

I copy the exe file to the desktop and then add -advmethods right? I forget
and -forceasm also, then you put a copy of the desktop short cut in the start folder.Quote:

Ok it's not letting me add both tags to the end. Do I put them directly after the .EXE" or does it go before?
What I did was move it one space after EXE to add -advmethods and then another space and -forceasm.Quote:
