What are you talking about? If you have more than one firewall, they would be situated so as to create a series of walls between the LAN and WAN. Also, software firewalls that run in Windows are of limited protection if the attacker knows what he is doing. NAT firewalls are a myth, the offer almost no protection.

well, i'm home now for thanksgiving. which also means that i am no longer folding...:( (we are required to shut our computers down and unplug everything except for our fridges and aquariums...if we have them) i will have to check with the folks about using the comp here for folding, but i'm not sure how well it would work. there is only one phone line so the computer can't be online all the time and i'm not sure whether or not they want to have folding even running. they also shut the comp down at night, usually. guess i will check anyway.
either way...the team is doing awesome guys! and have a great thanksgiving day eating lots of awesome food!! :D :D

No problem schultze. I just signed on yesterday with the following:
a 2500 Barton O/C to 3200 (Gamer, Sr.)
a 2500 Barton O/C to 2800 (Gamer, Jr.)
and a 1700 o/c to 2000. Have all three running 24/7 to take up the Thanksgiving slack. I feel like a part of the Jerry Lewis telethon!:)
I am home for the holiday so I don't have access to dreamweaver and my FTP client; basically I won't be able to update the milestones page until Saturday. I apologize for the wait. :)Quote:

This board is huge, I'm sure we can catch up quite a bit.
