I'll consider that when I feel the need to break 19k.:) I've gotten CoolerMaster aluminium ramsinks and I'm thinking of mounting them on the vid card rams (they DO get very hot.:) :eek: ). Will try for 19k prolly 'round the weekend.:) Just hope I don't fry my components!:D (On the up side, in case I fry my vid card, I'll have an excuse to get 9800Pro 256megs/5900Ultra:D :D :D )

I wouldnt get the 256MB version of the 9800Pro... but that is just me :)
Just smokin' ya, I'll DEFINITELY not be oc'ing that hi, perhaps 415/710 for my vid card (think that's within the SAFE range as I've done it before):D I should break 19k if I oc my cpu a little more, perhaps 210x12=2520mhz but at what voltage? (Was at [email protected]) Is it safe to increase my multiplier like that?:confused:

It's already built! Check my second system. :).
I havent really tried overclocking this 2.4C much... however, 3.4 was a possibility. Vcore was a little high. I might return it and try my luck with another one. Or just return it and get a 2.6/2.8 :).

Well my formatting is about 75% complete.. Man it takes so long to format 200GB :(
However, since my last copy of Windows XP went bad... I am using another disc with my serial number... But the new disc is Windows XP Pro with SP1....
I prefer the 3DMarks without SP1 installed... I tend to lose about 100-150 points... Sigh... Oh well :(

Same system specs, but just tighter memory timings. Crucial PC3200 kind of sucks, but it was the best deal I could get for name-brand memory at the cheapest price (I'm strapped for cash). It's rated at CAS 3, and when they say CAS 3 they really mean it. It's not stable at 188MHz FSB at CAS 2-3-3-6-1t, but works great at 2.5-2-2-6-1t.

Yes this is my personal record, I smashed 13k and am grinning ear to ear now! There is just something so special about 13k, I remember 6 months ago about a 13k club where people with tbreds and radeon9700 pros, they got 13k to 14.5k most were at mid 13k.
