How does the new server feel about concurrent maps? ;)
Well, between railways and the nice portal system, exploring new area post-1.9 should be pretty easy. I don't really see a need for a new map. But then again, having put SO much work in on this one, I'm kinda biased. :D
*edit* I am against concurrent maps. We have a hard enough time getting numbers on the current, single map. It should be stick with the current map or start a new one.
I never log on anymore, but I still want to create a giant Nyancat that you can see from space and I say stick with the current map.
I'm OK with the current map. Dungeon Defenders has my interest right now, so I haven't logged in at all really. As for the server, it should handle concurrent maps without issue.
I would like to keep the current map as long as there aren't annoying quirks, like the villagers finally appearing and burning down the towns because we moved their stuff around.
Okay actually that would be pretty cool in its own way, too. :p
Word is the the official retail release drops in 4 hours or so.
Update is live! Not downloading it until James is able to.
Wow is that end fight boring. If we do it as a large group then it's bearable but I just did it in creative and ZZZZzzzzzzz.
Sorry.
Forgot to update yesterday, despite dejarin reminding me.
Updated now. Feel free to check it out! :)
Update: For anyone having trouble's connecting to the server after the update. Apparently it's a known problem. If you login to a local world, then go back and try to log into the server, it should work without issue.

Hey James, is the server down? I haven't been able to connect since sometime last night.
On another note, I hardly see anyone online anymore. :( I don't play as much as I used to either, but there are still several projects I'm working on, so I still log on quite a bit.
Currently I'm building a 6-level slime farm - which I realized might not be such a great idea due to lag once they all fill up...
I haven't had much gaming time of any sort lately. I'm sure I'll get back to Minecraft eventually but recently I've had too much other stuff going on to play many games and now I have some stuff from holiday gifts and sales to play.
I was in game on Saturday, and jtpacke was as well. I was working with pumpkins and he was exploring out from his usual location towards the big watery area.
Is the site down can not log on. I am starting a new building in another site I tunneled too. JTPacke
I'm waiting till we can have mounts before I jump back on.
That's my fault.
Apparently my cleanup script for the minecraft backups short circuited. Chewed through 70GB of SSD space. :p
