I know the feeling. When you're over $20k in debt and not sure if you will have a job when you graduate college you're not exactly eager to start spending tons of money. I just hope my system can limp through hl2.

Huh? Think there's a big diff here. I'm a student jsut entering High School and can work for about $100 a 10 hour day, but is just too busy too.:p You're an adult 20K in debt....:p

Ouch!:p Leave the man alone, you'll find that as you grow older, you CAN get into quite a bit of debt w/o realising it:( . Mortgages and credit card bill CAN pile up.:eek: I'm fortunate in that I've cleared all my debts and have a relatively wealthy family which I don't have to support.;) I've got an apartment to call my own and life is sweet (for now:) ) I've got a new BMW 735 and a new Porsche Carrera 4S parked in the driveway of my family home. Life is like waves, there are hi points and low points (and the occasional eddies throwing a curve ball at you). I'm not blowing my own horn here, just merely stating that diff ppl lead diff lives, so don't put someone down w/o knowing what your life is going to turn out to be!:mad:

PS. 20 years ago, my family was poor, not dirt poor, but poor none the less. Hard work and prudent business investments over the years have improved my family's situation (maybe that's why we're over-compensating with the cars:p ) Sorry about the rant guys but I'm just a little POed by this guy's attitude!:mad:

if you think I'm some rich snobby kid Mikey, think again. My parents are 10k in debt from equidy loans and are lucky they have jobs. Most college students do get into debt while in college b/c of well college IS expensive. Heck with a few years going to a good one you could buy a nice house.:p The only reason I can make $100 day is if I work for my self employed father who has to drive 40 miles every day to Boston to get work.

Cool!;) But I'd be worried if I were you, Harbinger hasn't reponded yet!!!:eek: I'm sure it's alright, most Sharkyites aren't temperamental (unlike me:o ) BTW, I built both my rigs inpreparation for D3 ;) , I wasn't even aware of HL2 (shame on me!:o ) so HL2 is a great bonus!;) :)

Not offended :) But yeah, debt builds up in a hell of a hurry, something to watch out for. Btw, all my debt is from student loans for tuition, college is ridiculously expensive :(

can be misconstrued:o . I know I may have shot off my mouth but I'm quick to anger, I'm still working on enhancing my calm ;) . Like I said, when I was younger, life was really tough :( . Skipped lunches at times, walked to school and walked home from school quite a few times (had no $$ for public bus), wore hand-me-downs and so forth. When I think of my family's past, I'm amazed that we're where we are today.;) Tac, I really do wish you all the best in your studies and all your future endeavors!:)

PS. Harbinger, it's real cool of you to be so understanding about this:) . I'll try to emulate your example :cool: .

I wasnt aware of a new BMW 735...

thats because their arent any in the US. I've got a 540i by the way, got any pics of that c4s? Anyway Im Doom III ready, Halflife 2 approved baby. :D All I need now is another half gig of memory, a video card and a soundcard.

Strange, why isn't there any new 735s in the US? (where there's a huge market, sorry, a damn huge market!):confused: As for the pics, I'll take a couple of shots and ask the C man to host them for me.;) BTW, the latest news is that HL2 will (Surprise! Surprise!) be delayed till the year end (looks like :( )

Not me. Games don't dictate when I upgrade. Times does, which is every 4 years. j/k;)

The one thing that determines if I upgrade or not is Money, if I have enought to upgrade I will, if I don`t I won`t.

BMW, Like Mercedes, Only brings the models with larger engines into the US so as to keep the Brand name "Elite." Their is a 745iL in the US, and a V-12 powered recently introduced 760iL costing over $100k. But I hate all the new Bimmers anyway Since Bangle became head of the design team. New 7, Z4, and the upcoming 5-series are all HIDIOUS. But to stay on topic, sucks that HL2 has been pushed back, ehh? ;)
