If you rebuild, your drive is clean :D unless you use a 2nd drive or partition while holds all the images... But you wont gain anything..
I have a two cases each holding 250 CD's and about 10 CDR spindles (50 disc) that contains backup images and data archives...
I also have a small 25 disc holder which holds my main CD's that I use on a daily basis for rebuilding.. So its not hard at all to find :)
Do you know how large MSDN library is? Visual Studio 6 / .NET? You are wrong....it saves ME switching CDs/DVDs between programs.
And yes....CloneCD, alcohol etc will get past those protection schemes for games and what not.
Didja know that with MSDN subscriptions you can actually DOWNLOAD the images and it is an MS FTP?
Have you heard of storing Ghost images on a hard drive for quick / easy networked installation? Didja know that images can be HUGE? Do you know what a fileserver is? OMG you guys are lacking greatly in creativity.
jesus christ man give it a rest
Starting tomorrow (10/19-10/25), Max Payne 2 will be $35, so that's when I'm going to pick it up.
Woah.. I'm loving this game
Taking my time on it, since I heard its a short game.. making sure I don't miss anything :)

That is super unlikely. Most CD's come with protection against that kind of thing. So they would require a crack. Do you do that too ?
I don't buy your story. That's just me. Im sure many people here don't buy it either.
ummm...did someone say Daemon tools? Plz know what you're talking about before you start making statements like that.
Ahh im getting it right now...gonna take all day tho :o

But on a more serious note, while you are here and knowledgible on the matter...Perhaps you can ellucidate for us how the use of some of the afore mentioned programs and how it is effective in increasing speeds. Does it require the use of Independent physical disk drives? can it be done from the same physical drive?? Are the images compressible? etc.
