yeah I haven't added part 1 yet...it's a lot to upload so I'm trying to do it when no one's on...
I still got to add that along with cbp1 and some recent maps like dm-redkin...ons-dinora...and of course my maps :)
You can upload when nobody is on.. But the new maps wont take effect until a ini reload....
Ping of 130-150 for me. Any INI tweaks for this?
there is a severside option for it, thickrate, however this should not be higher than 40 imo. there is something in ini too but that doest change much. (a least not 100ms, wich in your case has to be the diffirence btween a good ping and a *^&%$^@ ping)
edit: i tried my ping too. its about 140 and im in europe, not bad at all i guess =)
I was ge4tting under 100 when I test the server. I have to let you know what it is after I finish reinstalling everything and get UT2k4 back installed (I had to reformated my computer last night a major pain)
It has been really erratic for me one time i was getting 70 with just me in the game next time 30 with 4 bots. Then with people it was over 100.

Not to steal the show away from Points, but his server was just down and I was playing on this one. Very very insane number of people, seems to be good for those times when you need to make lots of things die asap.

You probably made a mistake in the ini... Does the server generate a log file.. That would usually indicate why it went down and wont reboot :)
I don't recall making any ini changes today...I made one yesterday that limited the onslaught scoring requirement to 1 but other than that...nothing that would affect how the server runs...
it's back up...I was uploading volume 1 of cbp2 and I stopped uploading a map half-way and it must've screwed up when it tried to read that map on startup...

the server will be extremely laggy from tonight till the morning...I'm uploading the rest of cbp2 volume 1...along with some select maps from the first cbp...my own maps...and some favorites of mine...
in addition I'm deleting some of the maps that no one ever plays to reduce the map vote clutter and provide the server with a good mix of custom and stock maps...
No one is on :(
