Oh and squirrel meat, I didn't know that was your mic..it sounds good. You saw a pic of mine..it's only about 15 years old now. :p But I have been looking at the steelseries headsets though. I don't want a USB headset b/c I'd like to keep using my sound card.

Well, in my case and with the exception of D2, I haven't used my PC to game online since I last played City of Heroes a couple of years ago. Even then, my supergroup was just getting into using vent. It sucked though and I didn't want to use it. It's frustrating when a) you can barely hear someone b) someone has mic boost WAY too high c) 2 or more people talk at once d) someone screams obsenities just as my son walks into the room. I probably do have a mic somewhere...I just haven't seen it in years.
