game looks good but I don't think it looks as good as crysis. crysis is like 10 and this is like 8.5

yup, I'm gonna get Dead Space when the price drops a bit. Getting it for my PS3, but right now its like 60 $ !! :eek: 50 $ is my maximum for any game.

I've heard that the engine is compressed and thus the small size. From what I've read everywhere the pc version does not come out until tomorrow (fri). What am I missing?

No going prone, no leaning, no destructible trees and you can't interact with anything. I mean NOTHING. Can't pick up nothing.

Damn Crysis.. spoiled all other games :(

The graphics are NOWHERE near crysis. I have this game maxed at 1920x1200 with 2xaa and it does not touch Warhead on gamer. The physics are nothing like crysis.

IMO this game feels exactly like SOF3 except it has a stalker style feel and without the crazy gore. The hit zones are horrible, you have to totally own people for them to die. I'm talking about up to 8 AK-47 shots to the chest. I shot a guy square in the head and he did not go down. There is no sneaking around in this game either. You run into a town and try to pick off one guy only to have 10+ guys all coming running at you not even trying to take cover.

This game is very disappointing so far. Far Cry was a MUCH better game, I don't know why the review sites are giving it such good ratings.

EDIT: OH and the voice acting is HORRIBLE. Its like they sped it up for some reason.

I don't know what I'm complaining about My last save I was only at 1% of the game LOL but... I don't know. Far Cry 1 already had me hooked, the moment I walked out of the first cave into the bright Island. Not even interested in looking at the Far Cry 2 today but I will try and give it a fair shot.

This is how Doom 3 started. Super high reviews because they bought so much advertising. Lots of fan boys so high on the game and the anticipation. Then slowly over the first week or two reality set in.
