w00t! Broke 1000 earlier today. :D As an aside, is there any big difference between the complexity of G@H units relative to F@H? Right now I'm preferring F@H, and I'm just curious as to whether I really need to be picky.

Well, I'm about maxed out, so don't look for more production from me.
is there any way to set 4.01 to load at startup, rather than 3.24?
what do you really need to hide it for? if you find something that does the trick let me know :DQuote:

Is there any Easy way to hide or remove the SYStray icon?

Yes, replace the 3.24 in the startup folder with a copy of the 4.01 shortcut.Quote:

The_Emperor[Empire] favourably responds to your supplications, girds for battle and places his army at your disposal. He deploys 3 Athlon machines 24/7 at Imperial Headquarters to this noble crusade.
Welcome aboard, be sure to go to the setup FAQ thread and see how to setup your amd computers, if you have not done so already.Quote:

BUMP!:p
come on guys! If you haven't joined, please join now! We really need all the people we can get as we get closer to the top 100! Now that it's getting close to xmas, there's never been a better time to donate some of your cpu power to a very worthy cause. I'm sure you all know someone who has been plagued with cancer. You really can help make a difference in this fight against it. Folding is very easy to set up and you can forget about it after that. Thanks everyone who has already joined!
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming....:p :D
Hey, now that's good news! Been away for a while and didn't expect sharky to get into folding because most were into Seti. Folding had allmost came to a stop over here :)
Anyway, got a 600, 800, 1533 and 2166 assigned to the team just moments ago. Should be on the list soon. The goal is yellow :D
Woohoo -- thanks. We're simply trying to make the top 100 by years end -- difficult, but not impossible.Quote:

it is just so awesome how more and more people seem to be joining. as they become aware...they come to help! it's awesome!
and 2March, sounds like you've been folding already...but welcome to the coolest team out there! :D
CONQUER ON!!
8 machines at your service, My Lord!:o
But being the dumba$$ that he is he has just revealed that there is a folding program on one of the computers (apperently it is not running on my computer... atleast it is not taking up any cpu cycles) so I will go forth and destroy the program on the other computer.Quote:

I went stealth on this and set folding to run as a service...Now, I only have to do this to my little bro's computer and the plan is brought to completion. They'll never know! Muahahah! He'll be like "***! Why is this so slow all of a sudden?" :p
DAMNIT! this is talldude - i forgot my little bro is logged on this computer.
BTW if you want to know how I figured out this "great evil", it is quite simple really; I saw that I had posted in the folding thread, when in reality I had never even entered this thread before now. So great, now I will KKnD... Krush, Kill 'n Destroy F@H on the other computer, MUHAHAHAHA, I have outsmarted the vandy student, MUHAHHAAHAHA.
Brilliant solution -- genius.Quote:

Why not just change the Name to yours and keep folding for the SF team? You think nobody in your family will ever get cancer? Think again, then keep folding.
He was just being an a-hole to me, trying to make me (his older bro) mad. He didn't take the proggie off the comp (talked to him today). It's all good. :)Quote:

i've already joined for a week or so... but i only have one rig and i ain't running 24/7...
i don't we could make it to the top10...
the teams that are in 1st and 2nd have over 1200 folders:eek:
Kappa2001. Thanks. Spread the word to your friends about folding. That's how we can increase our number. Your machine is important!:)
Consider this. This team didn't exist two months ago. So in less than two months we've become one of the top 25 producing teams in the world based on our production the last 24 hours at least. In less than two months we've added over 100 members and 300 cpus. The top ten teams have all existed for at least a year, if not more so they have a massive headstart on us. But it would not surprise me to find the SF Folding Team in the top 15-20 overall by this time next year.Quote:

So, and I've looked at Stanford's site, does anybody know if Intel optimizations can be set when running the screensaver version?

Will start today on my rig at home. No 24/7 but as long as Im home.

and mikead_99, i'd just suggest getting the gui version...unless for some reason you can't. as far as i know, i don't think you can optimize or really change much of anything with the screensaver version.
