yea quite a few people tried out silkroad here, though I dont know that many stuck with it.
I am in love with WoW right now. However it is kind of redundant. Go to a town, talk to so and so, kill some monsters, and return back to so and so. That gets annoying but I guess it is because I am still under lvl 20. It is hard for me to level because I work 45-50 hours and also have a gf. Sometimes I wish I had more time to play, but I don't. But I have a question...does the style of play change? Or do you keep killing 5-7 monsters to level up here and there. If so, I can see myself getting bored.
guild wars is a game that is pretty much all grouping with henchies OR people but you dont really just go out on your own in that game.
It does change quite a bit, but it stays familiar. You will still get quests to go kill x of y and return. However instance runs start coming into play when you can doing SM, RFD, RFK, Uldaman, ZF etc. and you can get some really nice items. Plus, imo, instances are by far the most enjoyable part of the game. When you can get a good group its a ton of fun.Quote:

Also, the hiugh level 30s is a bit of a grind and something I'm having to work through myself. The mount does help since it really does make it easier to travel and complete quests.

Maybe if you get into a good guild.....
I still like it though...
That’s somewhat class dependant. If it’s hard to find a group it’s usually because there are not enough healers on to get groups going. Sometimes it’s tanks in short supply but more often then not it’s healers. DPS classes can have a hard time finding groups at times because they are so dependant on there being enough tanks and healers available.Quote:
