Yea I ran out twice. You go in that city in the center of the map and talk to the priest.
can someone tell me EXACTALLY what to do in the beginning when I get out of bed in the hotel?
everytime I play
I go out and like 4 minutes I pass out from the aids and then got stuck in that room where the guy tell me to heal but when I press the heal button it doesn't do anything..
so far 2 days with the game and my progess is 5 minutes into the game .. . . . .

Try pressing your E button when you are looking at the blue flashing box (a hand comes up) or maybe the white box. I actually don't think you have any medic kits at this point so you have to take one.. Kind of a way of training you.
you dont press E to heal, tard. Press H.
You have to press H, when he asks you to heal.
Where are the times when you could just walk over a power up or tool and it would instantly switch to that tool or apply the power up?

I'm having the same issue as rimmerchant.....got it on the 360 and its fine, about 10% of the way through, simply filling the 5 days till fallout 3!!
anyway i have farcry2 at work on a PC for demo use and I'm getting the same issue...i start in the hotel, get shot or escape...either way i'm back in a blurred room being told to heal and i can't to anything.
there is a blue flashing save box but i cant activate it no matter what key i press or no matter what key i bind to do it, all i can do is get my map out and walk around in a circle....
this is why i use an xbox for gaming as they work
I messed with the level editor last night and it was cool...the controls are simple...you can litter and populate a map very quickly...if you've used editors like unrealed or radiant but felt it was too complicated then this is perfect...the deal breaker though is that it's too simple...it's very limited in what it can do...you can do a map but if you want to do anything custom well then you're kind of screwed...I didn't see any options for importing new models or textures...or even changing existing models or textures...no way to edit or create scripts either
as a map editor and working with only existing assets it does a pretty good job...and for the vast majority of people out there...it'll work perfectly...everything is set up for you already...unlike a lot of pc editors where you have to manually create your terrain and set up a bunch of properties...but with this you have instant results and can create something that looks pretty decent in a short amount of time...however the moment you want to do something advanced or something different you run into a wall that can't be worked around...
can you make single-player levels with real working AI ?
I messed around the Crytek's sandbox. It was easy, but very labor intensive to get something workable, that actually looked good.
well there is another wall where there is a med kit where you can pick up sryinges to heal yourself with. those are what you use. then the guard lets you out of the door.Quote:

omg i just discovered that you can press crouch button while in the jeep to switch between the gun and the drivers seat. Crap. I've been getting out and running around to get to the gun...
Now it won't be so tedious handling these oncoming enemy jeeps.
those scare the crap out of me...I'd be driving along then out of nowhere someone starts shooting and ramming me...I remember one time I was in a jungle sneaking along when out of nowhere this jeep comes right at me straight through the bushes and the gunner kills meQuote:

Many times now I have a truck on my tail shooting at me, they always seem faster then me, I stop and jump out and they are RIGHT THERE stopped and jumping out themselves. I swear this game spawns enemies where you are NOT looking.
Took me over 30 hours to find the hot key for switching between the seat and the gun. :(
To look behind just press the 2 mouse buttons.

before I had the H maped to another button and no matter what buttons I press it won't heal....

The game's pretty fun...but the missions are all pretty much the same thing over and over.
I bought a camo suit and silenced MP5. NOW I can really do some serious sneaking around. It's back up to FarCry 1 standards of stealth.
I can pretty much walk up behind mostly anyone now, as long as I'm in the grass. MP5 kills are quieter than machete, which kinda makes sense. I also put an accuracy upgrade on it , usually 1-2 head shots works well now, and no one hears.
I just drive around to diff guard posts, kill off everyone but one guy, then blow up ****.
there's something wrong with the keybinding in the game.
some keys won't work even though I bind them. they seems to work fine on default though...
after regbinding keys some of the keys don't work even when press it.
I guess a patch is needed. :(
I use default key bindings and find it works well.
Halo 2 was like that with bindings. I could not rebind E no matter what.
I type in DVORAK keyboard layout and fortunately some games automatically recognize this and I dont' have to rebind so much but not microsoft games.. go figure.
my "WASD" controls are ",AOE" The only binding I really don't like in this game is the grenade throw button (that should be lean left) but I never bothered to change it.
btw, right and left mouse buttons at the same time to look backwards is great, thanks.
this games atmopshere is incredible and its alot of fun but one thing that is driving me nuts.........holy crap you do alot of driving. I think i drive more than i kill stuff. -2 on that. drive drive drive. oh looks another mission: time to drrive some more. arg
I find that annoying to but once you can minimize it by using the bus station. I love the game now but even on hard core it's pretty easy now that I got some good weapons and I know how to use those storage lockers.Quote:
