I made some changes to the site. I added a cooling section. Keep this short and simple people. I only want to know about your CPU and GPU cooling. There is not room to put your Nexus fan controller and case fans and etc...only the essentials. Also all the links now open in new windows. Remember you can click on a users name right from our site to PM them. I put some links in our "Links" section and will be adding more. Also please check out the rules section again, especially #4. Keep on 3DMarkin guys!

Also I've got a reviews section up now so if anyone wants to write any hardware reviews (preferably with some photos) feel free to write one up and send it over to me.:)

sweet.. um.. i think i wanna write a review on my set up.. 2.4c stock versus overclocked .. i can't wait.. i think i'll start tonight, since i just did a fresh format.. that way i can get some real benchmarks..:D :D :D

as for the cooling part of it.. umm i'll pm you verticies on my cooling set up

What I would like to see is reviews of individual components.

The reviews should be in depth and written like normal hardware reviews you see on the web.

For instance, you could review your 2.4C, show some benches stock, show some benches OCed, write about the chip, and give your impressions of it. Make some graphs. Show some pics.

Don't just review your whole system.

I'm looking for mobo reviews, cooling reviews, CPU reviews, Ram reviews, things of that nature.:)

dual channel vs single channel
and 2.4c overclocked vs stock
and maybe my new ocz PC3700 gold edition

i have alot of time on my hands, since i don't have work for the next week. and ive always wanted to write my own personal review.

And a quick question vertices. Using rage 3d tweak, it only lets me oc my memory to 324mhz. How do I go about getting some more room to oc my memory?

I see a believer/convert here, HeHeHe!:D But, really, it does work (from my experience with the older ZM80A-HP), I've always thought that the Zalman vpu cooler is a unique innovation : large surface area to help dissipate heat and now with the addition of a fan, it can only get better!;) :D Ya know, ever since I joined Sharky's, I've spent a bomb (more like a nuclear bomb! :p ) on components trying to score higher. I'm going broke here (and it doesn't help with the V man egging me on! :p :D HeHe! Just j/k V man!:D ) This 'pissing contest' can get expensive :eek: *looks at my bank balance, burst into uncontrollable sobs*

I updated your score.:)

And to answer your question:

Use Regedit:
Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Game Util\ATI Radeon Overclocker. Change one or more of the following:
UpperCoreX
LowerCoreX
UpperMemX
LowerMemX
They are multiplied by the defaults to get the ranges.

So you can increase UpperCore and Uppermem by like .3 each and you will get MUCH higher clockage capability.

ever since my quest for 20k hit.. ive spent a ton of money.. i mean new vid card, new ram, gone through 3 different motherboads, its really been crazy (keep in mind, ive returned all the computer parts, so no i don't have 3 motherboards laying around).. but once you hit that 20k.. ohh man.. does it feel good.. i feel like i'ma OVERCLOCKING GURU!! i mean not only i'm i top 5, in 3dmarks, but 1# for overclocking my vid card.. lol well worth it.. well worth the money! hahaha man talk about getting bitten by the computer bug!

The man himself shows up! I know what you mean Pyro, I've been playing the crap out of Warcraft3 lately. My PC is all perfectly put together and show room ready. Office is cleaned up and looking good. I'm not benching too much and I've not spent quite as much time here as I usually do lately.:) I know how it is.

Yeah but you resold and got that money back. That's easy. It's tough when you fry it and it's gone. The only thing you fried was a 9800.:D
