I cant go with Indy considering how they've looked in the play offs. Sure theyve won, but they havnt been putting up tons of points, it is a damn good thing they got Vinitari or they woulda been out in the first round.

I have to agree with you. The patriots D played them pretty tough that last game, enough so that I wasn't that impressed w/ Indy's O. The problem is I just don't think the Bear's O is any good either. Which Rex will show up? I think it's more of the Bears losing then the Colts winning.Quote:

Irvin - 750 receptions for 11,904 yards and 65 touchdowns
Art Monk - 940 receptions for 12,721 yards and 68 touchdowns
or
Andre Reed - 951 receptions for 13,198 yards and 87 touchdowns
I'm not saying he shouldn't be in, but these 2 guys should be in before him... what a joke.
Well considering Irvin could've played a few more years and broke those numbers if he didn't get hurt, on top of the three super bowl rings, it is understandable.
I love how football HoF doesn't give a **** if you abused drugs, while the baseball HoF won't even let in one of the best players ever in for lying about gambling.
It wasn't just gambling, it was gambling on baseball. No one would care if he hadn't bet on his own league, and in all likelihood his own team.Quote:

Irvin - 12 seasons, avg 62 rec per season, 992 yards avg per season (crazy)
Monk - 16 seasons, avg 58 rec per season, 795 yards avg per season
Reed - 16 seasons, avg 59 rec per season, 824 yards avg per season
fairly close, reed being closer than monk... but I see what you are saying, if Irvin played 4 more years like those guys and was just as productive as he had been then he would have 248 more receptions for a total of 998, and 3,968 more yards for a total of 15,872
for perspective -
Rice - 20 seasons, avg 77 rec per season, 1144 yards avg per season
Career - 1,549 Rec, 22,895 Yards, 197 TD's
Brown - 17 seasons, avg 64 rec per season, 878 yards avg per season
Career - 1,094 Rec, 14,934 Yards, 100 TD's
these 2 guys are HOF locks!
this guy should be also, I think he is eligible next year?
Cris Carter - 16 seasons - 68 rec avg per season, 868 yards avg per season
Career - 1101 Rec, 13,899 Yards, 130 TD's
obviously Marvin Harrison is probably the most prolific...
11 seasons, 92.9 rec avg per season, 1245 yards avg per season
Career - 1,022 Rec, 13,697 Yards, 122 TD's
in 11 years!!!!! if he played like rice, for as long as Rice he would obliterate the record books.
Well more like he betted on his OWN team while he was MANAGING it. I'm glad Thurman Thomas got in...he was a stud RB.
Didn't realize that was actually proven until I just researched it, I thought it was all speculation. But hey, he only bet on his team to win, that's okay, right? :DQuote:

yea i think if he bet on his team to lose then that would be a completely different story. That would be waay to easy to throw the game off that way. At least he bet to win i guess.Quote:

I just came up with a great joke for you Bears fans:
What has no balls but is still blue?
Grossman on the snap.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Grossman is the player of the game........ for the Colts!
Good job Colts. Now on to free agency! (rubs hands together and grins fiendishly)
God wins superbowl!
just ask colt's management.... wow, why suit up and play then?
edit: Rhodes should be MVP, peyton had an average game at best.... AT BEST. To bestow the MVP on him just cause he is manning is a joke, it's like the grammy's...you KNOW who is gonna win, why watch.
you are always posting things i am about to post :p good thing i read the forums before posting i guess...what a retard Grossman is I bet he wont be a starter next year.Quote:

All of the sudden, me leaning towards the Bears winning, but still predicting a Colts win doesn't sound so utterly crazy. :D
I too was gonna say Grossman shoulda been the MVP, for the colts.
Idiot. Fumbled... 2 snaps, two interceptions... how many yards did he finish with, like 50?
Also, Rhodes had a much better game than Manning, I wish he woulda punched in that last touchdown just so MVP would've been impossible to not give him.
Damn, off by only 2 points :)Quote:
