The Steam Store page says it has "Solidshield Tages SAS 3 machine activation limit". I don't know what Tages does, but I do know the game needs to authenticate with Ubi's servers on launch, however a constant connection is not required.
That is pretty effed up.
Looks like you are only allowed to install the game on 3 computer configurations... thats a no-go for me since i like to play my games on 3 different computers and one of them gets upgraded regularly. i can't support this type of practice no matter how good the game is

Dungeon Siege Complete for 10 bucks. By Grabthar's Hammer, what a savings! I have been looking for Dungeon Siege II on ebay off and on for a while now and I have never seen it for under 10 dollars.
Time for another free weekend! This time it is for Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes.

As someone who owns this game on both DS and XBLA, believe me when I say it is excellent.
Dead Space 1 and 2 75% off until Thursday.
Torchlight 2 is up for preorder for $20 or a 4 pack for $60. It also comes with a copy of torchlight 1 per preorder.
I definitely agree. At this point I am just going to wait for a $5 sale even though I am passing on D3 also. They just pushed it back so far I am no longer excited about the game, either one or that matter.
Sadly, that's my plan too. I really enjoyed the first one, but it isn't nearly as large in scope as D3. If I were them, I would hold it back for a Fall/Holiday release to get in on the impulse buying season. Too bad they couldn't get it out last year and had to push it back.
Hmm looks like Serious Sam 3 BFE is on sale for $13.60.
Tempted to buy Bastion. The only thing holding me back is my MASSIVE backlog full of awesome games. I know I said it in the other thread, but I have become a collector of Steam games...
EA indie Bundle Sale

Uggg...I feel kinda dirty just typing that out. However, it's a pretty solid bundle.
Yea as bad as an EA "indie bundle" sounds, it's actually a great collection. Deathspank and Shank are both excellent, as is Gattling Gears. Haven't played Warp but it looks interesting as well.
I may have to get this tonight.
Went ahead and picked up Dustforce yesterday. Got a lot of indie games on Steam lately that I need to start playing, but a lot of my gaming time lately has been taken up by trying to finish the Song of Ice And Fire books (just about 100 pages of book 4 and all of book 5 left to go). Looks like my wife is going to be out of town this weekend, though, so I should have a lot of free time over the next few days.
