Naw man no overclocking. I used to have it overclocked pretty high, and if i can remember correctly i think my highest with this setup was a 2800 or 2900. This MX can scale pretty high, but im not gonna OC it because when i upgrade my card this one is going into another computer. I dont think theres any reason to go and OC this thing now. I dont really game that much except for UT every once in awhile. I used to use the 10.80 for awhile, as they seemed to work well with my card also, but now im trying the latest and greatest nvidia drivers.

finally got the test done. scored a 7738. not bad i think.

I wonder if anyone out there who has a Ti4600 would flash their BIOS to a Ti4200. That way they'll be put into the Ti4200 MadOnion results. He'll probably get the fastest score out of everyone :).

It doesn't work that way. I've flashed my BIOS using 4400 and 4600 and I still read as a 4200. Unless of course I did it wrong?

Anyway, with my Palomino I've moved into the 12K club. The problem I'm having is with just pc2100 I cannot seem to OC worth beans. I can run it 315/620 when the agp bus is at 66Mhz or for me a 166 FSB. 170 FSB only costs me 3core Mhz 312/620. However, up at 180FSB I have to drop way way down on the video card's OC. So much so that my 170FSb is my higher score. Rest assured I'm working on this problem. For now this is where I'm at:

Saps, you might want to consider this mod, it helped me not only get back what I had when I OC'd my fsb more and ran into the same problem, but allowed me to even go higher than before. :)

Good link thanks. The AS3 is starting to kick in I just ran 310/615 on 176 vs 315/620 on 166. I do also have a 80mm fan glued atop my gpu cooler.

This is probably stupid, but what are the default settings for 3dmark? 1024x768 in 16 bit color. I ran it in 1024x768 32 bit color and got 3232 marks with an athlon xp 1700+ and radeon 32mb ddr card.

1024x768 32 bit color just hit benchmark without changing any settings

Oh btw I get a 6000 now with a celeron 800, 256mb pc133 SDRAM, GA-6vx7 4x motherboard and a GF4 Ti4200 (64mb). That doubles the performance I used to get with my GF2 GTS so I'm happy.. when I run the madonion analyzer it shows me only 12% back of a GF4 Ti4600. :)
