So is this your LAN gaming rig? If so you might consider a couple of wheels and a trailer hitch. LOL! Nice case, I like the two motherboards idea. I never thought about having two motherboards networked together in the same box. You could run Ventrillo from Slackware on one board and your game of choice in XP on the other.
It will probably be my home server case.. But not sure..
That will not be a lanparty case.. I rather not hurt myself trying to carry it :D Also I never go to lanparties :(
I will probably add wheels, since I like that style...
This setup might hold a Dual 3.06Ghz Xeon.. Just haven’t finalize my new specs :)
I cannot wait.. The case arrives tomorrow!!!!! I can finally see what works and what doesnt! and to see how massive it is inperson!

Oh god was that heavy, carrying it through the house! Its not the weigh that was so bad.. But the size!

Looks like a beaut. Couple comments... 1) I was RIGHT about the hot swap. But they look very nice. 2) Looks like a pair of 80's up front with restrictive grills, time to cut those out and make nice free breathing 120's holes. 3) Is that space for 3 HDD's side by side? and 4 vertically per stack? Looks like a good prospect for network storage. Maybe get a nice SCSI raid5 card and a gigabit ethernet controller for the box? (or even a 4 or 8 channel IDE controller)Quote:

I am not used to seeing hotswaps with a single voltage input line...
Its an older Antec psu...
That cage can hold 9 HD's ... 3 drives per segment...
Plus... I found an aditional 3 drive segment on the other side panel side... against the 5.25" Drive bays!
So a total of 12 internal 3.5, 8 External 5.25"
Those fans on the front are 92mm Sunon with a filter infront...

I love how this case comes apart! Everything comes off.. All steel no plastic!
I have it completely stripped down to just the frame.. No side walls, no internal parts, etc.. Very nice!

So now I need to give it a shot on a trial case..
Also this case is brown.. IF I dont have it sand blasted, how would I make it easier for the paint to take effect.. Since the brown color is really dark...
Have your friend with the sandblaster take a look at the case and get his opinion on if it would do any damage to it, if he sandblasted it. IMO, I think it would be better to get some good old hands on action with some sandpaper.Quote:
