Tbird, try producing a screenshot with this quality over 25fps. Radeons/GFFX can do it easily, but I doubt yours can.

File is around 2.3MB
Do you have any Idea how much I hate you? no no you dont! take what you thought shine it up real nice, turn it sideways, change the multiplier to 18(???), put your TI4200 to 700/750, AND Stick DIRECTLY up your ya your uhh PCI slot lol
ahahha No I dont really hate you, but I dont care about TI4200s!
and I dont care about radeon 9800 pros, that makes two of us and evens it out
So why no screenshots from you? AFAIK RAM doesn't affect IQ. I for one do not care about the frame rate because I know its crap... Don't say its not crap because I probably game more than you 3DMark
I can't wait for this 1600x1200(or better) screenshot in Far Cry...this is going to be the funniest thing ever.
T-Bird, its so obvious that are full of crap that its not funny. Hell, you probably tried the demo, realized the Ti4200 can't do jack at that resolution, and are now hoping that new RAM will bring up your FPS.
Why no screenshot from your current system? It will take less time to take one and email it to Colossus then it would to do one run of Car Chase in 3DMark.
Whatever, I'll wait for it. I really want to see all this supposed performance! 16.5K in 3DMark should give you like 345,234,234,234 FPS and since its on a Ti4200...even more bragging rights!
farcry requires dx9 and I am not installing it for fear it might hurt my 3dmark performance before I have given up. this is why I want to make one last 3dmark run with my new ram before calling it quits and getting farcry and dx9
There is something called uninstalling DX9 and reinstall DX8/8.1Quote:

impossible without a reformat of windows
rofl, if that requires a windows reinstall that means I formatted around 200 times already.
Any real benchmarker has a dual boot setup with 1 install for benching only. Only takes up about 3 gigs or so.Quote:

As much as you bench Tbird I can't believe you dont do this. It's also good for an emergency boot partition to get files if your main partition suddenly becomes unbootable.;)
I have other hard drives for that, but id rather not bother with installing windows and all drivers just for 3dmark when I can do 3dmark now and just wait till my ram comes. Once im done with 3dmark, I am done till my a64 upgrade for over 20k
dual boot is much easier, you just install your benching drivers on one partition/hard drive, and keep all your demos and crap on the other. no reformats required.
Wow, Tbird, I can smell your BS from a mile away. Not once have I seen any substancial evidence of you even running a game on your PC. Also having to uninstall DX9 is the crappiest excuse I have heard for not posting a screenshot... or you could not uninstall DX9 and just go out and buy a R9800pro. Go back to playing 3dmark... I'm sure you could run PONG at 2048x1536!
