If you overclock you do _not_ have to send the chip in for a RMA, hence they are two SEPERATE events.

Laws define the moral standards!! You made so many callous judgments of others in that statement that I could say that YOU have issues in the brain. But you don't, you just have a different perspective, albeit a seemingly shallow one. Thieves don't always have to jutify their actions because they don't apply moral standards to themselves. It has nothing to do with hipocricy.

No you dont... Pirating is two events... (or more)

1. Finding the software.
2. Downloading / Burning
3. Installing...

You can download it then delete it. Without even installing it. That wouldnt make you a pirate exactly.

You have that choice until the very end when you burn/install that game/app/movie/music/whatever.

You dont have to pirate that game, you dont have to send in that processor with the voided warranty...

Life is full of decisions, the only thing that seperates people people in jail to the ones outside. Is the law and morals.

If I buy a processor, I could go smash it with a hammer, that would void the warranty but so long as I don't send it in trying to get a replacement, it doesn't matter.

So if I buy a processor, overclock it, break it, then throw it away. What would I get charged with?

Laws dont define moral standards, laws reflect some moral standards.

Hahaha, laws define morals. Dude, morals define LAWS. You have it backwards.

Theft has been looked down upon since the days of the cavement. Try to take another man's food or wife and get a club over the head. Same thing in the animal world where laws have never existed.

Stealing is wrong in every iota of existence and laws are based on that.

Im not talking about that. I am talking about abusing the warranty of a product. If you smashed it and tossed it out fine, If you overclocked it and tossed it out fine...

Now if you smashed or overclock it to failure, and request an RMA. That is not fine :D

So was throwing stones at people who were deemed "immoral" (which usually meant they had a different religion/heritage). I can see some people in here doing that :0
