Yeah, that would be completely sick. Hossa is a nice player, both teams fared well in that trade. Hossa will be a premier power forward wherever he goes, and the change of scenery did wonders for Heatley.

Ottawa had him last year as well... and he's one of the premier players in the league.
For whatever reason, those two names give me a major brain cramp... I get them confused.
Wow, what a game! Ottawa didn't play badly or anything, but the ducks did an incredible job of knocking the Sens off the puck and keeping the pressure on. It's looking to be a great series. Getzlaf owns!
I didn't see the game last night, but I saw the highlights! Despite the1 goal game, it looked very good. Nice saves, and plenty of hard hitting.
The million dollar question coming into the series was how would Pronger and Niedermyer be able to handle the Alfredsson/Heatley/Spezza line.
So far, I think that we have our answer... and the Ducks have their 2-0 game lead.
If the Ducks win the championship, this will KILL my friend here who is a die hard Kings fan... and I'll be reminding him that a Disney team based off a crappy movie have won a championship where the Kings with Gretzky couldn't... LOL!
I didn't see it either, I had class in Portland all evening.
But I noticed something about game one--Spezza looked really uncomfortable out there. Pretty sure I saw him just give up the puck several times in his own end, then stand there as the attacker drove on Emery with it.
Strange to see the Mighty Sens :p not getting it done; i like the Ducks a lot but I hope Ottawa doesn't get swept.
Anaheim is looking fierce! Game winning goal aside, I'd take Sami Pahlsson on my team anyday.
Nothing to see here, move along.
You must be referring to baseball.
Lol!

As per the baseball comment...
I know that it's NHL playoffs, and this thread will be fairly active as a result of that...
But it's also baseball season, and not football season... and the NFL thread is flying along while I don't see a baseball thread anywhere to be found.
So "nothing to see here" seems more applicable here on Sharky's to baseball than to hockey.
And when watching baseball... there really IS nothing to see but a bunch of guys standing around for 90% of the game.
Well it's true that hockey is simply not popular, hard as it is for me to understand.
The playoff games have been great, maybe people will start coming around soon, like they did in the 90's.
In honor of this thread, I watched The Mighty Ducks!
I watched woman's softball, the g/f was all like "watch it with me!".
Pronger's (former Oiler) hit on McAmmond (former Oiler)... intentional, or accident? I wonder if he'll be suspended for another game (or more)?
That was CRAZY... McAmmond looked like he was KOd... slid right into the boards.
Ottawa needed to win that game... and they played like it. Next game will be crucial. Anaheim either goes up 3-1 and puts a death grip on the series, or Ottawa ties the series up.
Pretty good series thus far... REAL rough... just the way that I like it!
Pronger suspended for another game, which he deserves since McAmmond is injured. It didn't look like such a terrible elbowing, but it's hard to tell with concussions though. Chris Neil's flying forearm looked worse, but since McDonald got right back up there was no issue made of it.
Was McAmmond also an Oiler previously? I knew he played for Calgary, but damn that guy's been all over the league.
