Abarine probably has a life I think, he does have a kid to take care of I believe. Either way the Browns will suck this year so he has nothing to look forward to :p
Panthers look good so far this year, I want to get tickets to see one of their games. They've got a solid defense, and the addition of Keyshawn Johnson will open up the passing game, not to mention Deangelo Williams looks great so far in preseason.
I'm going to a 49ers game next month :).

Looks like Philly has given Pinky permission to get traded. Maybe Branch after all? After last year, the Eagles probably feel the need to shake things up a bit. That would be a nice pair of wr's, too.

I watched it. I am a Raider fan. I was bummed Walters was hurt again and didn't play. I think he is the wild card. He could be great. I know Tui isn't gonna work out. Don't really like Brooks. But I thought everything was going the right direction until the signing of Jeff George. Does Davis want to sign James Jett as a reciever as well? It is insane. I certainly have doubts if he will be a nfl quarterback. He willed college wins. But he was running over and thru college defenders. He will find the pros harder. Plus he can't throw all that well. There is a lot of talk going around that Volek will get traded, which probably means Collins will be the starter. Young could be a bust as a QB, or he could be totally incredible, but at the very least I think he is a few years away from starting.

According to NFL 'insiders', the Jets and Seahawks are fighting over Branch right now. They say both teams are pitching the kind of money that Branch wants, but New England wants 2 first round picks to trade him. ::eyes

JeBus, John Abraham didn't even fetch two firsts. If this doesn't go down, NE will have one disgruntled wr on their hands. We'll know in about an hour.

Just wondering, does every one still think that the AFC is miles ahead of the NFC?

I'd say they have a higher number of very good teams, but also a higher number of absolute stinkers.

I think he'll be a good pickup for some team. A change of scenery may be all it takes for him to get started, and he'll be at a bargain price.

It's finally that time again. Whats everyones pick Miami or Pitt? Normally I would say the Steelers easily, but I'm going to go with the Dolphins. I'm interested to see how Daunte plays tonight.

I'm not really sure who will win, but I'm not as sold on Pittsburgh as a lot of people. People forget that last year, they didn't even win their own division. They had a lot of breaks go their way at the end of the season and throughout the playoffs.

Im guilty of that. I honestly forgot that their regular record wasnt that great. I was hoping to have my HDTV before tonight, oh well :(

I think they were 11-5, which isn't bad. I think their record was the same as the Bengals, but the Bengals won the head to head. I know they were the second wild card team, after the Jags, so they were really close to not making it.

There is something to be said for a team that wins that many playoff road games, though, lucky breaks or not.
