Yeah I guess you are right. I must have been thinking top 100. Using Colossus' formula even a 2K a day gain will only take 20 days to erase a 40K margin. Of course no one between us and 200 is at even at 2K a day and only 2 teams are consistenly above 1500. So our gains on almost every team are at least 3.5K a day and even more on others.
It does in fact now appear we'll be around #200 in very early December depending on production. With vertices back online that's easily another 1500 a week for us. If another couple dozen cpus get added we could be advancing even quicker.

It might be easier to look at it from a week's production level. We've got 28K+ the last week highest outside the top 63. The highest team between us and 200 is Deadmen Folding currently at 220 at 11K. We're expected to overtake them on Dec. 1. Freaky Folders is currently 202 producing 6K a week and we're expected to overtake them Dec. 2

Extreme's projections are based on weekly averages. Currently our weekly average is 28K. Yet our last 24 hours is 5K. If we maintain 5K for seven days then of course our weekly level will raise to 35K and our projection levels will change in turn.

Don't worry, they will never catch us. But that don't mean that you'al can get fat and happy! Go out and find more folders, were going to need them. You know that some of the teams we are about to pass are fat and happy. Nothing like a threat to set them to folding again.

And let me add that 8000 points is dust in my wake :eek:

So did I. Didn't stop me from switching over to folding though. :)

I put a new CPU online this weekend. It has been dropping WUs so I backed off on the OCing. I should have one more CPU online within two weeks that will be online until the begining of the year.

SIG change coming soon.

Indeed many of us, especially AMDers with SSE, have back off on our OC's and/or raised our vcores. Folding is very demanding indeed. Glad to hear you've added another cpu :)

Obviously a massive six hour session but look at their last increment just 301.91. Maybe there was a glitch in their system. If their next couple three hour increments are also low then we'll know

Yeah I think these guys are falling back to earth a bit though their production overall does seem to be higher than previous days. Still they have 660 in the last 6 hours and we got 1100 in the same time.

This is kinda a funny question :D But can you fool F@H? Such as making a copy of your F@H status when it is about 98% complete, let it send the results and download a new WU... Then run the saved copy and let it complete again? So you are transmitting 2 WU's?

I know that is sneaky, but I was just curious :)

True true. In order to fold 24/7 I needed to take my oc down to 2.2

System seemed totally stable, but F@H would crash mid-workunit at 2.4

Oh well, crunching away now. :)

Just spent the last half-hour fiddling with the dual-G4. Think I've got it going in dual mode. :D

Yeah most AMDers have backed off around 100Mhz or so. Even in your case the difference between 2.4 and 2.2 is less than 10%. Now its true over the course of a week, month or year 10% does add up. But its even more true that stability at 90% is better than instability at 100%
