Default bench: 1.4GHz Athlon XP Ti4600

No overclocking at all I get 11041.

I wish my 8KHA+ could handle 166MHz FSB :(. A lot of people with 8KHA+ and Crucial PC2100 get 166MHz FSB's but I can't seem to be able to. I run stock clock speed so I can run at 1.675 volts.

It's also pretty hard to overclock with a room temperature of 90 degrees fahrenheit :(, I can't wait for winter season. Maybe when I have time I'll setup my peltier+watercooling system that's been laying around my room for 6 months now and get an 8K5A2+ w/PC3000 RAM and I'll be flying.

Ok well that is good but is their a way for the GF4 ti 4600 to do as well as the ATI 9700 or close with maximum FSAA and maximum AF on in any resolution ? :( I wish there was way or nvidia could do something to improve the performence of the maximum FSAA and maximum AF when its on somehow.

i scored 5000 on my radeon8500 with the cpu OC'd to 900mHz. I've also got a question. what do you guys mean when you say: 185/185? just wondering and how do I tweak that?

GPU/MEM speeds (vid cards) i.e. 300MHz (GPU or VPU)/600MHz (RAM)

Thats a pretty sweet score for a 1600+, Is your Ti4600 overclocked as well? It must be nice to have a spare rig like that. ;)

Finally broke the 12000 3DMark score.

This is on a fresh install of XP Pro SP1, VIA 4in1's installed, all Windows Updates installed, Detonator 40.72 Beta drivers installed, and Soundblaster drivers for my Live! X-Gamer.

No overclocking of any sort and video drivers at default settings.

1st number usually means the core speed and the second means the memory speed :).

ummmmm, I'm not possitive, I just push it :D

It's actually pretty hard to ruin anything if you pay attention to the temps.

Yeah...that was with no tweaking...single run only...I knew I wouldn't be setting any records with that rig...so i just ran it at 325/745 ;)

dude 745 is way high, mine only goes to 600 and how did you get your athlon fsb to 181??? mine struggles at 138 but of course my mobo blows!

He has a Ti4600, you have a Ti4200 (my 4600 does 336/776). His 1600+ is a newer stepping than your 1800+ (my 1600+ is at 1.96Ghz). The older stepping chips will not hit high FSB without an unlock (even then your mobo won't allow multi change), where as mine runs at 187Mhz FSB locked (saps has his at 188Mhz FSB). :)

just did a fresh install, because my driver choices were becoming more and more limited...at one point i could only use the 22.80's. after the fresh install, and installing the 40.71 driver, i got a new high score of 9562 (see link at bottom of sig). ti500 was clocked at 260/590 and the 1800+ at 1672Mhz. as it gets colder here i can run my 1800+ at 1710 and the ti500 at 267/590
