Still can't get it work in the official 3.24 or the 4.00 beta. Does it even work in 3.24?? Followed saps' directions, also tryed the Max PC directions.

Worked fine on my Mom's P3-850, but can't get it work on my new rig - Biostar 200N & XP2100+ @2.17G. Currently working on a p685_L939_K12M_ext_355K at 5 mins/frame, FAHcore_65.
Well, for one thing, all you need on an Intel sytem is -advmethods I believe. Have you made a sortcut for the 4.0 beta to the desktop and right clicked on it and properties and put them in there, if you have you might try after you finish this work oder to go to the F@H folder in program files and delete all the cores in there, then click on the shortcut to restart the F@H program and let it download another core. Also put a copy of the shortcut in the startup folder.Quote:

try the 3.25:

for a 2100+ use -advmethods and -forceasm. put 3.25 in its own folder, or at the least delete the old core as lonewolf described. just check to make sure it doesn't download another 65 core when it starts again. if you have a partially completed WU in there it might do that to complete the WU, which is why a new folder is usually the best way to go.

take the advice of the two guys above. When all else fails uninstall and re-install. Its vital that you not start the client until the proper flags and configuration is in place.

Indeed, after our first week I set what at the time I thought was a lofty goal of making the top 250 by years end. At the time our projections had us falling short. Now we should make the top 300 tomorrow, top 250 next week and the top 200 in two weeks. In fact if we can sustain this pace we should be top 125 by years end if you can believe that for a 10 week old time. Problem is I know several Folding Team Members have expressed concerns that they will not be folding or at least have reduced cpu activity during the holiday season. That's regrettable but understandbale too. I for one will not see a drop at all. In fact my production during both Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks should increase as the 3 cpus I only use 40 hours a week will go to 24/7 for those specific time periods.Quote:

EDIT - Over the last week our production is #40 overall. This reinforces the idea that we can be a top 50 team.

Well guys - I'm slowly slipping backwards... Not cos I'm dropping WU's, or running fewer systems (I"m slowly increasing, actually).... It's because others are ramping up so much. That's the reason we're about to crack the top 300 :)

*edit* But I'm planning on making up the ground I've lost :) My two P3 800's will be reinventing themselves as 2.4Ghz Northwoods in a few weeks... :cool:
i wonder if my parents will let me put this on their rig... it would definately help quite a bit since it's a pentium 4 2.4ghz! :D
