Well, if it's a "chipset" cooler, it is supposed to work just fine. Play with a little, try to make it fit.Quote:

If it still doesn't take the damn pushpins out, get some wire and strap it down. :D
You can always attach it with some Epoxy and AS3 :)
Epoxy = permanent. What if he decides to watercool later?Quote:

Well, actually the Blue Orb IS a 'vga chipset' cooler.:o I thought it would fit, I mean it sure looks like it would fit!:o . I can almost hear you laughing your a$$ off at such a blunder, HeHeHe!:p 'Live and learn' is all I can say!:p :DQuote:

Edit :I DID consider that but what happen if I go too far and have to RMA the board. Anyway, I've mounted CoolerMaster ramsinks to my vid card ram (using Arctic Alumina), let's see what OC more I can squeeze outta it.;)Quote:

Nah, I'd have made the same mistake, as it really should fit. I think you're doing something wrong. :p :)Quote:

True but it is the NB... So it wont make that much of a difference from AIR to water cooling of the NB :DQuote:

Now if it was the video card or processor (*lol* I wonder if anyone ever did epoxy the cpu :D) then it would be another story!!!
Most people dont water cool the NB since any benefits would be minimal :) With a very good air cooling fan/heatsink... Is more then enough! :D
It REALLY can't fit!:p It's like afew mm short so it's a 'no go' . Anyway, the Zalman looks good, hell, my card looks very much like the Sapphire 9800Pro Ultimate. :DQuote:

Epoxy is never a good idea - like mikeysg said, he might have to RMA it sometime, and if so, he'd be screwed (one look at a non-stock NB heatsink and they'd ship that thing back so fast... :)).Quote:

Listen to uncle xDUCK - get some wire and strap that puppy on!!
Btw, watercooling IS worth it (as long as you're watercooling other stuff as well). Many people don't know this, but transistors are faster and more efficient at lower temperatures. Therefore, even if you don't overclock, a 30C drop in your NB temperatures will speed up your computer.
Why not take some pics of that and your cars :D :D
You know the pics I am waiting on :D :D
OK, OK, I've taken a couple of shots of the cars, will also include some pics of my AMD rig (interior only as my desk's a real mess :o - you guys DO know I'm really lazy, right?:o Will also include some pics of my Intel rig together with the plasma TV it's hooked up to.;) :) Just let me tidy up the interior of my AMD rig so that it's more presentable (it's a freakin' mess right now!:o  )Quote:

Blah... We dont care about the mess :D :D
We know you are lazy so by the time you are happy with how it looks.. I would be a grandparent!
What OS are you using, A AMD system will do better with Win2K or Win98, I went to Win98se and picked up around 250 points, also I had a old 20GB 5400 RPM hard drive I was not using And I set it up for just doing my 3D Marking with and it only has the bare essentuals on it. I have also found that the 43.51 drivers work best for me and if you don`t have them you can get them here www.guru3d.com Hope this helps.Quote:

LMAO!:D :D OK, I get the message!:o Will send pics to you in a couple of days time.;) :)Quote:

Thanks for the OS tip - I'd always had that feeling, but nobody ever confirmed it. Looks like I'll be doing all my benching on 2000 now. :)Quote:

I`m sad to hear that it didn`t work, I know how long you have waited for it, but theres an old saying if you don`t succeed the first time, try, try again. ;)Quote:

Glad that the info helped, from what I can gather, Win2K is the best OS for 3D Marking with a AMD system, also if it don`t have sp1 loaded.Quote:
