yikes, never looked at the statman page before...got all the same info as the E O/C database, just not nearly as easy to read.Quote:

the one thing i really do like about statman though, is that they have your overall folding at home ranking, which includes all the WU's you've done under every team you've ever been on...for me, this means they recognize the 15600+ points i accumulated before joining the sharky team, which puts me overall in the top 3000 (currently 2630) folding contributers...something which i haven't been able to find out, even from the stanford page, until now.
Well the 10,000 point barrier is history. I guess the next one is 20K and I’ll set a target of January 1 for reaching it.
Congrats on 10k Thermo. :cool:Quote:

LOL! I'm an idiot. I always though folding was some type of benchmarking program. Meh, signed up today and will try to get a 1.4ghz machine and a xp 1900 going 24/7.
Good show! Sadly no one on our team is able to match your pace and give you some internal competition. So you're truly on your own in terms of pace setting. vertices seems to be getting back to full strength now however and mu ohio is putting up a large dail score as well. I know KaoTiK has been having problems with multiple cpus though. As for myself I'm still trying to negotiate turning the near 8Ghz of P4 I use at work from 35-40 hours a week to 24/7. If I can do that I figure my own production would almost double putting me more or less on your weekly pace.Quote:

Welcome aboard and there's still plenty of time to accrue points for the avatar. If you can get both those babies going 24/7 then you should be able net at least 2 lottery ticketsQuote:

that would be awesome. we might be losing some CPUs over the breaks, but it seems we have other members stepping up to the plate with some extras of their own. so we might just even out and not lose much at all (though of course it would be optimal to have full CPU power at all times :D).Quote:

thermo, i say start over with a new name for a while, thermo2 or something. you'd at least have the fun of watching yourself climb through the ranks. :D when you got back up to 10 grand, you could switch back to using your original ID and compete with whoever had caught up to you. or else you could keep two names in use, switching the load between them strategically to outpace whoever was around you. maybe it's a geeky suggestion :p (no stranger to those :D) but at least maneuvering through the ranks w/two IDs might add a little interest. :)
Nah I say Thermo attempt to crack the top 1% of all users then the top 1K, etc. Splitting usernames would destroy his chances of this.
Perhaps after I reach the 1% global group :pQuote:

A quick look at the numbers would indicate that I should get into the 1%'ers around the first of the year. But that depends on the output of the top 2200 or so people.Quote:
