same here, except for the fx cards obviously. even the geforce2's like the 40.72

ahhh...so that's why. i was curious about the ocing. i was seeing the 64mb versions getting way better than me. oh well. such is life. to run without artifacts i can push my card to 310.5 core and 526.5 mem so i guess i might just have to live with that (and maybe a few artifacts as well if i want to get higher). i've actually already made it past 14k. gotten up to 14194. i know i can push it farther but that is going to take reformatting and installing win2k. i just don't have any time right now!!! and i was going to do it last night... :( oh well...i will get to it eventually.

so the 40.72's seem to do good. thanks for the info...i will make sure i have those before proceeding.

omg!!!!!!!! you got 310 on the core!!!!!!!! :eek: what kind of insane cooling and v mods are you using? man 310MHz!!!!!!! :eek: mine did 300MHz and its using a big thermaltake fan and copperheatsink for that, otherwise id probably have 280 core on stock cooling. 525 is acceptable for 4ns ram, if you do a v mod you can get a little more. anyway I wouldnt sweat it, 3dmark likes a fast core also 128mb may come in handy for tomorrows games. can you publish and link ur score?

Hmmm... my MSI Ti4200 128MB (AGP4X version) did 306/595.... all stock cooling...:p

Omg when my new power source comes in (hahah the old one (generic 300w) basically exploded inside it's case) and I get enough time to download that 177mb file on 56k (lol) I am going to be all over this club :) I expect some good numbers too! :cool:

:( Sometimes, getting a good mobo is akin to crap shoot, sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not.;) So far my NF7-S hasn't let me down YET!:eek: Maybe I got lucky, just like my MSI mobo, so far, it's great but I can't OC it yet as I don't have the CoreCenter CD which would allow me to OC it. oh yeah...guess i should have mentioned that this was on stock cooling... ;) and i'm not kidding either. 310 is about the max i can do, though. if i push it any higher then 3dmark locks up and freezes and then "skips" sections of the tests...

the 14k score i got i am unable to publish because the processor speed was "fluxing". i did run the test just a little while ago, though, without so much of an overclock. i can put the link up, but i'll need to go get it first...be back with an edit soon...

yea I get that too with my core at 310, it locks up for a few seconds then resumes, sometimes it locks up more than once and when it resumes, it skips parts of the test and the skipped parts appearently dont count, thus really hurting my score. You must really have a champ ti4200 core, many cant do even 300MHz, not even a3 reguardless of what some say, well 300MHz is possible on any core, especially a3 but far from guaranteed netherless, a3 is the best chance but not a sure shot at 300+ good air cooling will gain you a little as well. anyway I never got speed flux, 3dmark either crashed to the desktop or locked up with an excess cpu oc. anyway if you can get 210+ fsb and 2.4+ GHz you can get mid 14k :)

yeah. i actually had my fsb to 202 giving me 2.525 GHz. i think i can push it farther, i will just have to see, though. and it's going to wait until i get more time, especially so i can get win2k installed to see if i can pick a few more points there... :)

If you're running a Ti4400, I'd suggest you just get the 3DMark 2K1, not the 2K3 version. With no DX9, you'll get really really crappy scores and we're all talking 2K1 (mostly) here so it's easier to compare if you use 2K1 as well.:cool:

When the 3DMark bug bites you, it's bad, real BAD!!! :eek: Hell, I even clasp my hands inprayer when I'm running 3DMark, yer never know if the GOD of 3DMark is listening!:p :D Anyway, the race for top dog in Ti4200 class is getting real hot, I'm always at the sidelines cheering you guys on!:D Keep on benching, dudes!!!:D :eek: :D

sorta, its more like upgrading for me, because i'm building my cousin a computer, and i'm just putting my current motherboard in that computer and maybe pop a celeron in there, (she only needs for web surfing/homework/research) and its only costing me 70$CND for the new motherboard instead of buying a brand new one...

well...currently i am running my 1700+ at 166*12.5. with my tornado turned down to about half (with my Sunbeam :)) my cpu temp is currently 35C. when it sits idle for a while it will go down to 34C. i haven't done really any tests so i'm not sure what it does at this level of overclock and my tornado at full speed. it probably drops a couple of degrees. when i go for big time oc's on my processer i always pop up my tornado to max. running my 1700+ at 2.5GHz with the tornado at max, i usually hit about 45-46C...or something close to that. oh...and this badboy is VERY loud! :) but it really isn't to bad. the sunbeam really helps, though! ;)

Yeah... that's one thing. That 21k score, I got that on a very hot day... so I didnt want to push my card too much yet... plus the card was brand new :p. Now I dont care, lol.

I have access to a very cold place... so cooling will NOT be an issue! :D.
