I updated your score but ***whispers in Big C's ear*** you got forgot to put it in the proper format, can you do me favor and use the format next time?;).
Macci is the man, I can't believe how far he got that 5900U.
Rukee~~~~ I updated you. Nice try at 2nd place, if only for a moment.:)
xDUCK~~~good luck my friend.:D
mikeysg~~~ still enjoying your time off from benching after breaking 20K? Where's that additional cooling? Get back to work!!:D
/me changes sig back and goes back to tweaking
i cant believe MACCI got the core on the 5900 THAT high  630 mhz is nuts
Actually, it was 689mhz. Which is even more nutz!:)Quote:

What kind of cooling did he have on his card to push it that high?
A modified Prometeia running R404A refrigerant. -40C on the GPU. Crazy stuff.:)
Is R404 "better" (colder) than R134a, or is it used for modded Prometeia GPU coolers because it is LESS cold (maybe video cards can't handle the extreme cold brought on by R134a)?Quote:

R404 has a boiling point of -44C whereas R134A boils at -26C. So basically you can get lower temps with a prommy if you replace the refrigerant with R404 but you must also lengthen the capillary tube and it is harder on the compressor.:)Quote:

A guy in *cough*anotherforums*cough*cough* used one on a fx5900 and couldn`t get it any faster then mine right now.
