I agree as well, but lets go about it in a very logical way. I hate it when people beg and complain for stuff.

i don't think there was anything illogical about what i said, :confused: and just to clarify, i wasn't begging or complaining but just trying to present a legitimate argument with valid points for why we need a dedicated forum. :)

I have a power supply, MB, cpu, memory and a graphic`s card, is there a way for me to hook this up to another computer without a hard drive or a case and have it folding also. If there is give me a link that shows me how to do it.

i think you'd also have to have a network card, or else you'd need a hard drive to be able to have an OS and share a network connection, which would be a major pain to set up just for folding. or if you have a floppy drive you could run linux on a floppy disk and maybe try to share a connection that way, though i'm not sure off the top of my head how that would be done. so trade the graphics card for a network card, and you could do it. :D i posted one link the other day to the extreme overclocking guide -- google for "diskless folding farm," you'll probably find more. :)

Well, I have been checking around and have desided that it would be too much trouble for me to hook it up that way, so I think I will just wait, until I can get a hard drive. Those certificates are nice, but now I wish I had not picked a name used by others. When I check on the one with my name it says I have completed 10K. :)

:D sorting by day, sharkys is in 29th place, and SPCR is 22. so we still have a ways to go to match you guys. and we definitely need to pick up production -- we're not even consistently hitting 10k a day! come on guys, let's recruit some more processors!

I`m not sure, but I think the next up from 10K is 25K, like it is setup on our milestones page.

got my buddy folding for us....i don't even know if he visits the forums here, but he was folding without a team designation, so i had him join the cause....so when you see General Slacker, that's him....he's running an xp1800+ stock right now.

Yeah I think I recruited my co-worker to join out cause too, he's a member here under the name Keeney. Hopefully he starts folding:)

19000 is done with, 20K is up next. Will easily spend the holidays in the 20K’s

If all goes well with the new systems tomorrow, then I might get to 25K for the new year.
