Jeez I just can't help but think that it's a real mistake to deal D-Jack to a division rival. For a fourth? I like having a deep wr group, I don't know why Seattle feels they need to trade him.:confused: Unless this means they are positive that DJ Hackett is the new flanker and will start.

I really had no clue Darrell Jackson was on the block...completely off guard.
it definitely looks like they are ready to go with Branch as the #1.
personally I would have went with jackson & branch but maybe one can't deal with being seen as a #2

I swear... there is more head cases at WR than any other position...
cause WR is the diva position...they get all the attention, no ball = no attention
Marvin Harrison is the 2nd best WR of all time just because of his work ethic and distain for attention, he goes out and plays hard every week...for a guy barely 6'0 and 175lbs he goes across the middle and makes plays then hustles back to the huddle....week in and week out...he is always the first WR i take in FF if hes there
Okay it doesn't make any sense to make that trade. Seattle has him in the middle of a long term contract, and could afford to resign him anyway.
Either Ruskel doesn't like him, or maybe he's butt-hurt over Branch, or the knee injury is raising concerns. But there has to be more to this. For one thing, he is the #1, not Branch.
That fact that he is being traded isn't a surprise though, and Hawks posters have been surmising that it will be to SF for weeks. Part of the picture might be Justin Smiley coming back our way, which makes the whole thing more digestible for me. Jackson is certainly worth more than a late fourth.
he was the #1, but branch has better hands and certainly better speed...I think the only reason he wasn't the #1 option in the passing game is because matt hasselbeck is a little b**** boy who favors jackson, I have always hated Hasselbeck....he cries everytime he gets tackled, he is the consumate whiner, he heavily favored darrell jackson to the detriment of his team - he would sit in the pocket too long looking for jackson to get open and ignore branch, he did it time and time again....now it appears he will be forced to throw to branch
Hasselbeck threw at Branch quite a bit for awhile, but the man just wasn't comfy in the system yet. Remember Jackson spent a few games injured, but Branch still didn't do a whole lot. I do like the guy though and think he'll fit better this year.
btw a pretty respected seahawk insider stated that Jackson was actually in TB today. Him for the Buc's second pick sounds about right.

What cracks me up is ESPN's infatuation w/ Quinn. After Cleveland passed on Quinn, they showed his face, instead of a pic of Joe Thomas (yes I know he's fishing). I thought was hilarious that they still talked about quinn for a good minute or so before they showed clips of Thomas. After TB, AZ, and WA passed on Quinn, they kept showing his face. He looked like a sad puppy dog.
At this point, I hope Quinn goes so the NFL network will talk about someone else. Quinn = media darling.
Aaaaand jackass move of the year goes TO the Dolphins.
Seriously, they took Ginn WAY too early. Funny that they picked him up as a receiver and kick returner, a role filled by my personal favorite player Wes Welker, until he went to New England.
Really, though, if they wanted Ginn they could have easily traded down a few spots to get him. Maybe give up the spot to someone that wants Willis; 9 is the beginning of the point where he would be expected to go.
