one thing i just noticed about mu_ohio's production that i thought was strange....for a long while when i was up ahead of mu_ohio in the rankings, but performing almost completely equally, we never had more than a difference of 9-11 in our work units completed (me with more)....
now he is moving considerably faster than me, yet our WU counts are still only 9-11 units apart? It's obvious that he's got more CPU power than i do, so i'd expect him to start closing the gap and surpassing me in the WU count, but we're still exactly the same
Come on through, just pass Gus before me, hehe. :eek:Quote:

I wonder what it would take for the folding team to get a forum of our own.
I've been asking myself the same question...Quote:

I think the time has come for a separate folding team section;)
AlbuquTurkey YOU SHALL NOT PASS! < said in my best Gandalf impression. I also slapped the new 3.0 my department got this week. Just hope the IT guys does not go around and shut down all the PC's like he did last weekend.
How in the hell did I pass V5500?

Reckon I'll have to try and work my way back into the top ten when I get back. :)
Yeah V55 is in virtual hibernation mode
However RealBeast is still charging
We sort of anticipated some slowdown during these next two weeks. KaoTiK and myself have both slowed considerably. My own problem comes from the 3 laptops I share at work. 2 are with others on trips during the break and so they will not be folding much at all.
However, consider that a week ago we had like 325 active cpus and were churning out 8-9K a day. Now with nearly 400 active we're still only at 9-10K a day. This suggests to me that in that last week a couple dozen of your active cpus have become virtually inactive. I'm quite confident that the first week of January or whenever all the vacationers return we should be well into the 11-12K a day range with our current crop of active cpus.

Nice work indeed, XJ, saw you broke 1k in just a couple of days. Hope to see you on my threats list soon! :DQuote:
