Thanks, speed freak
Actually, Pyro, IM me later. I just did the core vmod with success. I'll be 3DMarking in a few minutes. :) Plus, my NB cooler may be here today (if not today, I suspect tomorrow) :)

NB Cooler's not coming today, but tomorrow. Oh well. :)
...Pyro?
Well I got a slighly higher score with some more tweaking. I am having a power problem with my CPU. I might do the 2 pin bridge on the chip. I am too lazy to look but does anyone have a link or info on it?
Oh yeah I got 13496

You're having a problem with which rig? P4S533 + 2.8b?Quote:

If so, IM me on AIM, I have a few links regarding the vcore mod on the NW's. :)
I think you should be able to easily hit/break 15k with that rig. :)
The problem I am having is with System #2. I dont have AIM but I do have ICQ. I know that I can do more with that setup but it wont post past 135MHz FSB. I assume its a voltage problem since the max I have is 15% over norm. I also would like to possible up the voltage on the RAM chips and try for better settings then 2-6-3-3.
Also when I do clock high (above 132MHz) sometimes 3DMarks would just crap out. It will close and exit to the desktop. No errors no nothing. The screen didnt even freeze. I know its not a temp problem cause I had a window fan blowing right onto the mobo. The temp didnt even get past 45c at full load.
Blah, I need to work on my last bench score. My sprites is extremely low for that config.
I wanted to test various components for temps so I pulled out my trusty laser temp gun that I use with my nitro RC cars. I tested my video card, CPU, NB, Mem and they all seem a few degrees above ambient. The temp I get from my CPU is different from what i measure and from what the BIOS reports? I would assume that is due to there temp probe being under the die and therefore more accurate???
I am hoping for 15K :)
Odd. Why aren't you benching the 2.8 + P4S533 rig? It'd be a lot quicker.
I get that question so many times. I don’t really mess with that machine since that computer is in my office. When I am in the office I rarely have time to mess around with it. I need to get my billing, proposals and other corporate needs don’t and I cannot afford to have that machine down for any amount of time.
The only way I will be able to tweak it and push the envelope with it cause I want to break 17K which should be real easy with that setup. I would have to bring it home on the weekend or so.
My guinea pig is my 2.0GHz machine. I do all my mods and testing on that. I wouldn’t be that upset if I fry a 2.0 chip instead of a 2.8 :P

Speed freak, took out the Ti in GF3.
I just finished HTML Complete Concepts and Tech class which covers the foundations of HTML. In this class we pretty much learned about HTML tags, how to make hyperlinks, tables, etc. All the simple stuff, everything was done in notepad.
Now I'm beginning intermediate HTML "Planning and Designing Effective Web Sites". We're starting to learn about CSS "Cascading Style Sheets".
CrawlingEye, I updated your score. Excellent job! :) Sorry I haven't been on AIM as much lately. I've been kind of busy with school.
Colossus and Voodoo 5 5500, I've added/updated your scores.
kenrippy, your GF3 score has been added. :)
The P4S8X(worst board ever) won't overclock at all past 133, If I go to anything higher it will bluescreen before it gets to windows.Quote:

I can get the board to boot and load at 144mhz FSB but I have to run my ram at 1/1 and my LAN/SOUND/USB stop working :/
btw its not a ram or p4 problem, My ram dose 200 2.5-3-3-7 no problem on my P4S333 and my P4 2.4B can do 18x155 on any i845E based board.
