Dude, no kidding. Even without ppl to shoot it gave me the creeps, and the dream sequences were pretty trippy tooQuote:

Just got it yesterday. Anyone else feel the physics is a little ridiculous sometimes? I mean shooting people and them flopping around seems right on, but some objects seem to fall/flip over or wobble too much...
Pretty sure for both this and the original they did take pictures for the textures.Quote:

I'm on the last mission and I can't figure out how to kill the guy. He's up in that dome and he keeps throwing bombs. It says something about the spike on top of the roof?
hint.. look for the little orange color pins GL
I concur. Chairs seem a little "top heavy". Bump into them slightly, and they go toppling backwards.Quote:

Just beat the game 10mins ago. Man, what a wicked game.:D
Mona is hot!;)
You have to remember Max is constantly running from point A to point B, so knocking at chair flat on it's back is not unlikely with the momentum. Although the Havoc engine isn't perfect, it's damn well near it.Quote:

Yeah to beat the last guy, avoid his pipe bombs and use the MP5 to zoom onto the pins which hold the platform and spike thingy together.
I thought the end boss could have been a lot better. Part 1 was definitely more dramatic and climatic as Max goes on a killing spree in that high rise :D Awesome!
I've heard if you beat this game on the 3rd difficulty, you get a different ending. Is this true?
EDIT. Yup it is true...instead of beating the game another 2 times, here's the 2nd ending.
SPOILER!!! View at your own risk!!!

Did you notice at the very end of the credits it says something like "Max's journey will continue". I wonder if there will be a 3rd max payne.. and it took me forever to figure out to shoot the pins. I was getting pissed.
Very interesting, the alternate ending.
Yup, I bet there will be a Max Payne 3.Quote:

The alternate ending is seems to tie things together nicely.:)
I played through half of the first one, but I never beat it. Can you tell me what happens in the end? Who killed his family?
Im confused since in MP2 there is a dream sequence where he is in the prison cell talking about him killing his wife and kid, then Vlad at the end says he got his wife and kid killed...
In MP2's main menu, click on the "previously" text. I discovered this AFTER I beat the game...lol.;)
It's just that the physics are good so the times that it's "off" really stand out. Like I expect the chairs to slide a little (and sometimes they do), but a lot of times they just start wobbling or fall flat over.Quote:

Anyways, another fun thing due to the physics engine is opening a door and smacking the bad guys with it... knocks them flat on their backs. :D Killed a lot of guys just by blocking the door and letting it fly back into their faces and shooting them while they're on the ground or getting back up.
*EDIT* Haven't got there yet, but you guys spoiled it... what's up with the last boss battle always having to shoot stuff like pins? First game was where the cables held up the tower...
LOL. I'll have to try that door trick.:DQuote:

Yeah, the way to beat the end guy was very "deja vu".;)
Well, the level title is: "That same old feeling" or something to that effect.Quote:
