I totally know what you mean with the 24" Dell. My co-worker actually mentioned something that was true. After a while the 24" size starts to seem normal/smaller. Then you go to work and use a 17" you really appreciate your 24" monitor. When you go back home, the 24" seems huge again.:D

Overall I'm quite pleased with the new keyboard. I'm a really picky person so here are a couple very minor details about it.
- the plastic seems to hold grease/oils so it always wash my hands before using it
- the black plastic shows dust
- it takes a little getting used to the tactile touch since the keys are half height, have a soft touch, and some keys are larger than normal (G, T, H, N); left alt is a little smaller than I would like

I think the best thing to do is purchase the keyboard at a brick store like Best Buy which has a longer return policy and test it out for a few weeks. (then you can return it if you're not happy) I favor the tactile feel (more distinct clicks) of my old MS Natural more but this keyboard is so damn sexy in black.;)

what a super monster rig soup well done mate. Dell screen finishes it off really nicely. I might halt my upgrade - we now have a HN51 case found in Scotland!!! Yes - Bird flu is coming - NYC here I come. (dont worry i wont bring it over )

Another question for ya Soup about that keyboard. I've heard (and can see from your pics) that it is quite a bit taller or thicker than the old MS Natural keyboards and that it doesn't fit under some keyboard trays.

My keyboard tray has about 2 3/4" of room for a keyboard, can you measure and see about how thick that MS 4000 is you have?

I measured my old MS Natural Pro and at the highest point it was 2" thick. (without the feet) The new MS4000 is also 2" thick without the feet and without that weird inverse stand that tilts the keyboard away from you.:)

If you put the feet (not the stand) the MS4000 is just over 2 3/4" thick.
If you put stand (not the feet) it is 3" thick.

You and I have similar taste! I love the keyboard, the desk, the 4400+, and its all good stuff man..oh yeah the babes too ;)

Damn man what a powerful system!! I have a choice of upgrading my Tv to a Sceptre 37" 1920x1080p 8 ms tv and getting only a few small computer upgrades like X fi
or spending it all on the PC. I chose the first!!
I will be catching up to you and gaming/movie-ing on my completed HT system
in a few short months.

Well I recommend you use Utorrent. Ihad this problem when using the slow as snail and problematic> BiTCOMET..ew
Utorrent doesnt have to be installed and takes only 3-5 MB of memory compared to 15 MB of memory+Crashes for bitcomet.

I got Riddick in 1080p. I HIGHLY recommend watching it on there!
as my monitor can display 1920x1440 I recommend you get this movie on torrentspy or somewhere *yeah its a legal recording off of hbo lol*

Yup, I love Utorrent and I highly recommend it to everyone. It so efficient and customizable. Oh no worries about the Boston review...everyone gets busy in the real world. Once you go dualcore, you can't go back. Around September Intel will be releasing a dual core chip named "conroe" which is supposed to be really good for gaming/much faster than anything on the market today. (albeit at a premium) I can't wait till high definition DVD is released which will be quite a while thanks to the MPAA/manufacturers/dvd consortium.:p

Congrats of the XR55! What speakers are you using with it? I auditioned it against the Pioneer VSX815 and the Harmon Kardon AV135. The XR55 beat them hands down in soundquality...imho. (neutrality, low level detail, imaging, lack of brightness, and usability)

Currently I use the XR55 for my HT setup with SVS speakers. I got 5.1 set for a pre-release price of $700. They sound great with the XR55. I'm about to move my PC into the living room and use it as a HTPC hooked up to my XR55. Can't wait to hear BF2 with my setup. I currently have some lowly logitech x530's hooked up to my PC :)

Oh man! The PB10 with PC gaming will get the police knocking at your door.:eek::D

How do you like the SBS system for music? That's pretty cool that it uses a silk tweeter so it won't be too harsh/bright.

Yeah, I can't wait to get the sub hooked up to the PC. Right now I'm using it for movies and playing COD 2 on the 360. The sub rocks da house!! With the SVS system COD 2 is much more immerisive then playing on the PC.

I haven't listened to much music on it, but from what I have heard it sounds great. It may be slightly bright as its geared mostly for HT and if music is your priority then I wouldn't recommend SVS. For the price its a decent deal for a whole 5.1 setup which comparable to much higher priced sets.

Cool, thanks for the info about the SVS speakers. Man, if it weren't for customs/duty I'd so get a SVS Ultra (cyclinder).

On another note I did the Evga step-up program and went from a 7800GT CO to a 7900GT CO Superclocked. Damn customs charged me $44CAN for tax.:p

I think if you have the sender mark it as a "Gift", not as "Merchandise", then you won't have to pay duty on it.
