That's what I'm starting to think as well. Probably vid card, which of course is the only part in the entire damn thing I've bought in the last 3 years.

I found some sweet gear while soloing. I have 2 sniper guns one that does insane flame damage to flesh creatures and another that does insane explosion damage. I now cycle between the two depending on the mobs.
Then I have a sweet electrical revolver that stuns and DOTs. It's also powerful and has a fast reload time.
Finally I have a wicked Assault rifle that only holds 12 bullets at a time and fires 4 bullets in a short bursts. Sounds weak, but each burst does insane critical damage and the reload time is less then a second.
This game is really boring if you play solo.
I've been enjoying the solo play. My sentry blows things up now, I have an epic rocket launcher, and my array of weaponry is fantastic besides that. Wouldn't mind another "Sharky night" now the the worst of my week/two weeks seems to be over.
You installed DDO and started having these issues?
A co-worker of mine has a new Core7 920 system from Dell that worked well. He installed DDO and the computer would turnoff after 5 min of playing DDO.
He thought it might be a PSU issue, but now I'm wondering if DDO is doing something funky
DDO crashed for me...just like LOTRO when I had EAX turned on. I turn EAX off and everything runs smooooooth.
After running the tests Kama mentioned and getting the OK, I tried playing again and the comp promptly crashed. I recalled that it didn't start crashing until I took the Scar mini-boss subquest, so the next time when I started the game up I left Skag Gully as soon as I could and ran around doing quests in Arid Badlands. Played for an hour or two by myself, then later on played an hour or two with a friend with no problems at all.
I think there's something about Scar spawning that is causing my computer to crash. :D
Strange Glitch...check the gearbox forums and post it. Could be something minor.
In other news, this game is awesome with people. I have blast soloing, but it rocks with people.
What do you all think about a Borderlands movie?
I think you could make a petty slick 2 film series about the group of 4 trying to find the vault.
First movie covers back stories and basic involves the group getting half way before one of them gets kidnapped and the other 3 have to save the 4th member. During the course of which they become a stronger team and the first movie ends with them really becoming a group.
Second movie focuses more on the vault and them actually finding it.
About to finish up New Haven, and I think I'm halfway to level 29. That shotgun I have is quite the savior. I'm thinking once I beat it, I'll try to respec into an arena build that relies less on a strafe-able turret and more on damage/health. I have around 600 health now.
I just can't get into it solo and usually that is what I prefer. I don't tend to have a lot of luck though when it comes to drops so I find I am usually having to even just buy ammo I can use while I am 100% full on everything else. I am lucky if I even find a green weapon and usually when I do it is worse than the white one I have equipped.
One thing I was a little disappointed in the game is how the mobs respawn and also how they take damage. If I see one of those skags or whatever they call them there are always 5 more that run from each tunnel. Now I just stand and one shot them as they appear.
Also I was hoping that the humanoid mobs at least would be more sensitive to where they were hit. In my experience I could shoot them in the legs several times and they just keep running at you.
At the price I don't regret the purchase, but I don't know how much I will truly play it. I may wait and see what they release patch wise before I fire it up again.
