Totally awesome link we must all bookmark
Folding Rankings
The main stanford page only keeps the top 100 this does to top 2K at least. We're moving up very rapidly and looking at the 1300-1600 guys we should be able to leap frog most of them. For example as of this post we had jumped over 115 team in the past 24 hours. Last week we scored over 1700 points and within the next week with our growing number I'm expecting 2000-2500 points that would put us round about in the lower 14xx's depending on what other teams do. There's only three teams between us an 1400 which out scored us last week and only eight between us and 1000 and I'm confident we can improve. We do need more rigs for sure though. I'm now sort of able to use one computer at work on the days I work during my work hours. Its not much but its maybe another 50-100 points a week and every little bit helps. Even if we merely doubled what we're currently doing that'd be massive. So everybody get one friend to jump on board.
#1000 is currently between 13-14K and we're just over 6K in two weeks. #1000 will probably be between 14-15K by the time we hit it but at our rate I'm sure we'll crack the top 1K before Thanksgiving.
Actually upon further review based solely on the past 24 hous we've scored more points than any team in the 900-1700 range. At this revised rate we could just top 1K in just another week or two
awesome saps...i added the link to my ever-growing sig...:D
Wow, I like that link, thanks saps. Includes detailed team stats too... cool. :D
I'm moving up in the ranks on our team page... wewt! :)
Now we need to convince everyone that 5 WU turned into the Sharkys folding team is the minimum proof required for a stable OC. ;)
lol, i'm gold. I've got 7, soon to be 8.:DQuote:

when it says you have 3 active processors, that means you have 3 computers folding for ya, right lonewolf?
No, I don`t know what that means, I just got my one and only computer going at this time. After the first of the year though, I hope to take what parts I have laying around and fix up two more computers, that I will run 24/7, I`m just running mine right now from 10 to 12 hours a day. It could be it thinks that seeing as I have been installing and uninstalling folding at home and starting up again. BTW, I don`t know why but I am still running under the 3.24 client even though I have installed the 3.25 beta. Edit to add as long as I`m getting the SSE boost, I`m just not going to mess with it anymore.Quote:

i've been having problems keeping the 3.25 beta running too, it won't run at startup now...i have to manually click it to start it....i deleted the 3.24 engine icon out of the folder and linked everything to the 3.25 engine icon...
Did you put a copy of the 3.25 beta shortcut in your startup folder. BTW, let me know if by getting rid of the 3.24 engine icon works.Quote:

can you give me the directions to click? i forgot where that is...lol:(
Right click on the start icon in your tray, click open, click on program files, then click on the startup folder, there is where I put mine.Quote:

thanks lonewolf, worked like a charm!:p
we're doing pretty good! Is there anyway we could get more people to join(or at least let them know we exist)? Like posting an announcement across the forums for a few days? After all, this is a great purpose and should include all of sharkyforums...:D
Ok guys... I'm working at getting the client put onto 1200 laptops in January - my project, so I choose which team it goes to :)
400 x XP2000+'s
400 x Celery 2.5's
400 x Celery 900's
Wish me luck ;)
that would be some insane folding power!!!
No, sadly we must use sig links and word of mouth ATM. Perhaps that might change laterQuote:

Woo hoo, only took me 3 days to get 300 points.
That's a pretty good rate of progress. :)
n/m
Yeah and 38WU's as well I see. Guess you've had some of my problemsQuote:

speedyaxon, how did that work out by your getting rid of the 3.24 core(which one is it), I might try it myself, because I`m still having to restart my computer to get SSE boost activated and it is still running it on the 3.24 core(which I think is overriding the 3.25 core).
I'm not sure if it's problems we're having. Perhaps just the smaller WU's. I have had some 500WU's that only took 2 hours. So maybe that's where we're getting them? I have 7 computers going at this, and only one of them is less than the equivalent of a P4 2.0GHz.Quote:

i took the 3.25 beta engine image(the red circular icon with the bumps on the outside of the image), which was all i had of the new beta. I put that in the folding@home folder and deleted the other engine image out of there. Then i created my shortcut for the desktop out of the 3.25beta engine image. I edited that shortcut with the advmethods and forceasm, then created a shortcut out of that and placed it in the startup folder. I hope that works for you.:pQuote:
