Saints making da Bears look good.
Jeez, I went outside for awhile to work in the yard--came back inside, and CHi had put up 25 more points?? Oh well, now for the other game.
btw, isn't Asante Samuel one of the big FA names this coming off season? I bet everyone watching this game right now is hoping their team lands him. omg THE TALENT.
Well so far my predictions ain't sh**.
DA BEARS.
I picked against them, but I was voting for them the whole time.
Game is tied at 21! I will admit, when Samuel ran back that pick to put the Pats up 21-3, I turned to my wife and said "well, this game's over."
Guess I should have known better after the ridiculous comeback my College team, Texas Tech, made this bowl season, especially since they are similar to the Colts in a lot of ways, namely they have a sick offense that some teams are just able to shut down completely, and they have a bad defense. :D
Yes, he's a free agent after this season. I think he's the only Pats defensive player that made the Pro Bowl, too.Quote:

Yeah, pretty exciting game. I don't care who wins, I just wanted to see a good game.
Pretty sure Seymour made the Pro Bowl also, 'ski.
as far as manning goes, he doesn't need to win a SB, this was his SB... this was the monkey on his back - never beating the pats when it counted.. if he never wins a SB it won't matter, he played under the biggest pressure and got it done...with a 2pt conv... i'm glad belichick lost, hate that guy....
I think he has to win the Super Bowl. This was big, don't get me wrong, but he'll always be another guy that couldn't win the big one unless he wins a Super Bowl.Quote:

He can beat the bears any time, he has struggled hard against the pats both in the regular season and post season....he beat them on the biggest stage today, he made it to the super bowl...I don't think much matters after that, a SB would be icing.Quote:

Heh, i agree but I can imagine his piety level has climbed sharply since the death of his son.Quote:

Richard Seymore was the only Pats player to make the probowl period.Quote:

Ask Dan Marino if not winning the Super Bowl mattered.Quote:
