Well now that all my predictions were completely blasted out of hell, i will say that i think the Colts are gonna win the SB just to jinx them.
Are you joking? Not winning a championship defines a player no matter how good his stats were or are. Manning needs a Super Bowl championship to define his career and take the moniker of being just a regular season guy away. This is his best maybe only opportunity to win one, so I expect Manning to give it his all.Quote:

this post game team conference thing is a bit weird, whats with all the lord and god stuff? apparently Dungy thinks the lord gave them the strength to beat the pats....where was he in all the previous years? lame...no one won the game but the colts, don't be stupid.
I don't know I didn't expect Da Bears to play defense like they did and shut down the Saints. Grossman is playing well too, so it's a toss up. The Colts played very well against the Pats and the Colts' defense has actually played well enough to beat teams when Manning wasn't playing well at all. Since none of the teams I picked are in, I'll pick Da Bears by a touchdown.Quote:

He always lost the big game in college (namely Florida), and the Patriots didn't stop the Colts last year. It hasn't just been the Patriots, it has been a history of not coming through in the end, and it has just so happened that the Patriots have been in their way lately. This win was a big step forward, but nothing changes unless he wins the Super Bowl.Quote:

of course from Peyton's perspective it's going to matter, I'm talking about from the outside...i.e everyone else... he can beat any team any time, just not the pats, he did it last night on the biggest of stages under intense pressure.... monkey is off his back, as far as I'm concerned the rest doesn't matter. I could care less if the guy wins the SB, that is a team accolade - in times past his team would play good but HE WOULD choke, he would throw picks etc... he couldn't get it done, he finally did against the team he couldn't get it done against - if he plays fine in the SB but the defense breaks, ain't his fault... doesn't matter to me, Peyton silenced the critics! bigest comeback EVER in a championship game, I thought it was all over and was ing to turn the channel but nothing else was on....I thought ' here we go again, peyton chokes' but it wasn't to be... amazing performance by the entire team.Quote:

Damn, damn, damn... last night I lost my chance to go to the superbowl. If the Pats had won I would have gone. My cousin is one of their QBs and it would have been really cool to see him play in the superbowl, especially since it's his first year in the Pros.
Again... damn.
Last night was his third straight win against the Patriots...Quote:

The Colts didn't even play the Patriots last year in the playoffs, and they still lost.
he can't beat them when it counts, it is well known...Belichick comes out guns blazing with new defensive schemes and looks, he throws his bag of tricks at Peyton everytime they face eachother, it's known... the colts were beat at halftime, game over...but Peyton engineered a miraculous comeback, biggest in nfl championship history... AFAIC nothing else really matters, what is a ring? Brady has 3....if rings meant everything then Brady would always be seens as 3 times the QB Peyton is and everyone knows that's just not true.
is Marino any worse a QB than Montana? of course not...he owns most major passing records and Montana doesn't....of course Marino would rather have 4 rings than passing records, but it doesn't mean he is a worse QB.
his 3rd straight win, yes, the Pats are getting what they deserved and I think Branch is laughing his *** off a them saying 'I told you so', they treat their players like crap and believe they can just plug anyone in and win....funny they never do that with Brady. If Reche caught the pass in the endzone like his buggy eyed self should have we wouldn't even be having this conversation... the pats needed branch and it showed, that one catch by Gaffneyin the back of the endzone was pretty crazy though.
The Raiders are preparing to make a run at Michael Vick, according to NFL sources. The Raiders package would include receivers Randy Moss and Jerry Porter plus the No.1 overall pick in the 2007 draft for Vick and the Falcons first round pick (10th overall).

woohoo, guy gets busted for marijuana at the airport so what do the raiders do? make an immediate run for him... they are so f'in stupid.
just get maurice clarett out of prison and your team will be complete.
2 #1 wide receivers and the #1 pick in the draft for a guy who couldn't QB his way out of a paper bag... awesome, atlanta moves up in the draft, grabs a franchise QB who can acually throw the ball and they get 2 big targets for him to throw to....good move on their part if they pull off the steal of the century.
but - july 10th 2006 -
maybe the vick for moss rumour is just that if Blank doesn't like Moss.Quote:
"I wanted to play with Atlanta just for the fact of Michael Vick's elusiveness. And I wanted to play with a guy such as Ray Lewis, because he's on defense and I'm on offense. So I did have dreams and high hopes of being traded to the Atlanta Falcons , but the president and owner [Arthur Blank] told me specifically that [they] did not want me in Atlanta, there's nothing that I can do to get [to] Atlanta, and then wished me the best of luck."
In a recent radio interview, Oakland Raiders wideout Randy Moss professed his hush-hush affection for the Baltimore Ravens and Atlanta Falcons .
My point is that he hasn't been able to beat ANYONE when it counts, though, going all the way back to college. He has only lost 2 playoff games to the Patriots. He's also lost to the Steelers, Jets, Dolphins, and Titans.Quote:

point taken, regardless of what happens this is a giant mon key off his back...I think the colts beat the bears, they have more weapons and a way better QB, grossman is too shakey.Quote:
